He’s right. Apple made the best iPhones ever in iPhone 11, iPad has returned to growth, wearables are exploding, and services get better all the time.

Tim Cook has done an amazing job. He’s also handled the President better than I think any CEO in America.

lol. How did he “handle” the President?

Article forgot to mention Apple’s true innovations: the display stand and Mac Pro wheels.

Is that right?
Best phone in iPhone 11? I beg to differ.
Sounds like someone from Apple is posting here.
What iPhone is better, objectively? iPhone 11 has the best processor, screen, and by far, cameras, of any iPhone.

Let’s be serious.

It’s a privacy issue also. They can’t make clear claims on security etc., if you’re able to select a browser like Chrome.

You can select to use Chrome on your iPhone today. The issue is you can not select it as your default browser, for example when you click a link in an app. It’s not a privacy issue at all.

Seriously? Google it. It’s not my job to bring you along. I don’t need to cite every source for my posts, but the difference with me is I actually could.

I don’t constantly complain and post anecdotal evidence to back my claims.
No I agree with the person you’re talking to. If you want to make statements, back them up. Don’t tell others to do research to prove YOUR points. If your only response is “just google it”, you must be self aware enough to realize you don’t have a leg to stand on in actual debate

Source for your claim?

At this point, it’s generally accepted. I’m not going to cite that Apple makes $12/share. It’s true.

What innovation Tim Cook is referring too?

- The Pathetic Macbooks Pro 2016-19 and the worse keyboard EVER?
- The entire line of Laptops that has turned into disposable appliances due to the soldered components?
- A 10 year old designed iMac?
- a 10k+ Mac Pro that you cannot upgrade the internal SSD?
- Or the new just updated entry iPads that still have no USB-C and still uses the Apple pen 1 that you have to ridiculously plug into the lighting port?

Innovation has been so bad in the Laptops that they spent the whole year trying to fix the problems from previous designs by upgrading it 3 times in the same year...

How bad that speaks about innovation??, when Apple is still selling all the laptops with the bad keyboards at all Apple stores?? That shows that they o not care about the customers, they only care about making money and clear old inventory.

Best innovation ever... Really?

The forefront of Apples success has never been stronger with Cook controlling the helm. He’s taking this company to Heights Jobs never did.
Success, maybe.... Innovation i don't think so.
The success has come through other products like the Wearables, services and Other non-product related like Apple pay and credit card. The entire line up of computer has never been so outdated, overpriced, with poor quality control, with major lack of innovation and so out of touch with the users needs...

Apple has a great... no, scratch that; they have a “really good” product lineup - in fact, maybe even the superior product lineup in the many segments they’ve gotten theirs hands into. But “innovative” does not describe Apple in the least bit these days.
I know, this horse is well beat by now, but the fact remains - their innovation died in 2011.
Any “innovation” sold bearing the  is tech from some other startup which Apple bought. Otherwise, “thinner,” “more robust,” “longer battery life,” “brighter,” etc... - these are not truly “innovative.”
Timmy doesn’t know.

Wow, the hate is strong in the Cook threads lol. Anyone who looks at their patents can know just how much innovation is coming out of Apple. But much of what’s going on behind closed doors won’t be released for years, so many of the complainers in this thread are just uninformed. That’s understandable, since Apple’s security is so good.

But as these threads more and more become a toxic cesspool of hate, I wonder what happens to these comment threads when the last few Apple supporters finally get tired of pushing back against it.

Will all those in the Apple-hate crowd just argue amongst themselves about who is the biggest hater, who can out-hate the rest and who has the most Apple-hate cred?

Or do they just move on, looking for somewhere else where they can enjoy their trolling. Because trolling the trolls isn’t all that satisfying, I wouldn’t think. For those who get off on trolling Apple fans, what will they do when there aren’t all that many left here?

Legit question @arn, and any others.

People here who keep bashing Cook forgot that when Jobs was at the helm, Cook was doing the CEO job already. People seem to forget that a CEO != designer/product guy. Jobs just happened to be the latter with a CEO title.

Maybe the news media and blogs should start focusing on guys like Dan Riccio and others who probably can talk more about hardware, you know, the stuff you guys tend to salivate and equate to innovation.

Meanwhile, Apple is having a lead on silicon and ventures into healthcare, things that people don’t see and thus “no innovation.” And as a CEO, Cook made Apple into a healthier company that it has ever been.

Pretty much what I would write. Their MacBook Pro performance is been anything BUT innovative.
