I can’t tell if this post is a troll. If so, bravo.Let's not forget iPadOS has truly unlocked the potential of iPad Pro to be the world's only SuperComputer for the masses.

Pretty sure it was a troll.lmao.
Dude the “supercomputer” for the masses began with the Apple G4, the the TiBook and every other PC Mac or Windows since.
Wow way to hyperbole.
I love Apple, but being critical of Tim Cook is fair game.Im not upset, and I’ve got a very large ignore list lol. My question is what happens when no one is here to feed them?
I guess it not surprising these threads about Cook draw dozens of knee-jerk comments from the Apple-hate crowd, since his success simply infuriates them.
I had to teach my mother how to use Mail all over again...They don’t do change for the sake of change? Explain why they wrecked the Mail app in iOS 13.
Can we innovate the ability to set a default web browser on my $1000 Apple phone? Asking for a friend who has DNA.
I'm not exactly sure how it changed, because I didn't notice any behavior differences and I deal with 100s of emails a day. I have an exchange account, some POP and IMAP accounts.....

People here who keep bashing Cook forgot that when Jobs was at the helm, Cook was doing the CEO job already. People seem to forget that a CEO != designer/product guy. Jobs just happened to be the latter with a CEO title.
Maybe the news media and blogs should start focusing on guys like Dan Riccio and others who probably can talk more about hardware, you know, the stuff you guys tend to salivate and equate to innovation.
Meanwhile, Apple is having a lead on silicon and ventures into healthcare, things that people don’t see and thus “no innovation.” And as a CEO, Cook made Apple into a healthier company that it has ever been.
Just buy a pc. You will be happier 👍What innovation Tim Cook is referring too?
- The Pathetic Macbooks Pro 2016-19 and the worse keyboard EVER?
- The entire line of Laptops that has turned into disposable appliances due to the soldered components?
- A 10 year old designed iMac?
- a 10k+ Mac Pro that you cannot upgrade the internal SSD?
- Or the new just updated entry iPads that still have no USB-C and still uses the Apple pen 1 that you have to ridiculously plug into the lighting port?
Innovation has been so bad in the Laptops that they spent the whole year trying to fix the problems from previous designs by upgrading it 3 times in the same year...
How bad that speaks about innovation??, when Apple is still selling all the laptops with the bad keyboards at all Apple stores?? That shows that they o not care about the customers, they only care about making money and clear old inventory.
Best innovation ever... Really?
People on this site complain about no innovation and then in the next sentence wish Apple still made computers like they did ten years ago. It’s more that the market has generally moved away from their preferences and they don’t like it.I think the issue boils down to innovation in legacy hardware like MacBook line, iMac, Mac Pro versus newer services focus, wearable tech etc. I personally feel it’s fair to say Cook is correct and incorrect, making these kinds of threads break down eventually into the “Apple haters” ( or “Tim Cook haters” v “Apple evangelists” or Tim Cook supporters.
I want to believe the majority on this site want Apple to succeed, but as it has expanded into so many directions (and to be honest, made more $$$ largely in those which depart/ expand from where Apple started) you will never find consensus on terms like “innovation”. I’m in the camp which has concerns about future of Macs overall and what I want as far as “innovation”, but think I’d be a fool to also say the iPhone and other Apple projects have not been innovative.
And let’s face it, “innovation” is such an objective term.....

Given all the QC/QA problems of the last few years, the fact that it took six years to come out with a new Mac Pro and everything else I might be missing...........Tim is seriously deluded. Apple innovates about as well as Ford does these days.
Apple innovated on:
Watch every year except this year - cosmetic change mostly, double storage but not really much better for all users on the S5 vs the S4!
AirPods and AirPods Pro ... solid no complaints in innovation herein.
4 yrs + for an updated Mac Mini!!
6 yrs+ for an updated Mac Pro!!
IPad Pro innovated nicely
Everything else piss poor and playing catch-up ... 16” MBP to fix years of issues so they do NOT get a pass here!
Imo, the iPhone also had a few innovations here and there....

That's why you had to teach your mother to use mail all over again? Granted the interface looks slightly different, but Apple changes it up with every new release, so this is nothing new.The reply button is in a different place.
It is for a 75 year old woman with severe vision problems who is used to doing things one way and becomes disoriented unexpectedly after a software update. That's why you had to teach your mother to use mail all over again? That was not a “pop off”, but rather a question noting that Apple changes up iOS every release. It is for a 75 year old woman with severe vision problems who is used to doing things one way and becomes disoriented unexpectedly after a software update.
So maybe think a little before popping off.

There are few companies better at branding or marketing than Apple. They know what they’re doing, no doubt about it.I would argue that "innovation" in this context is often overplayed. I won't repeat the negatives which greatly outnumber the positives. Marketing and branding is very much downplayed or eliminated, but it is never recognized by people such as yourself as a core to Apple's success.
When was the last time we've seen posters like you and others even identify marketing/branding as a core Apple strength? I'd say probably 0.
Oh dear, where to even start with this nonsense.....Let's not forget iPadOS has truly unlocked the potential of iPad Pro to be the world's only SuperComputer for the masses.

THIS!!!!!!There are few companies better at branding or marketing than Apple. They know what they’re doing, no doubt about it.
Only the XR and 11 have Liquid Retina technology. Apple doesn’t advertise the 8 as having Liquid Retina, because it doesn’t. Perhaps you were listening to a carrier ad or an ad for a local cellphone store, but either way they got it wrong.THIS!!!!!!
There was an advert on the radio the other day selling the old outdated iphone 8!!!! Wtf, anyhow, they had to have a USP, so they concentrated on the screen to set it apart from the rest. How you ask do they market an old low res LCD screen as amazing?
Thanks for asking, I'll tell you.... its now being sold as the superior liquid retina display!!!!! Wtf, I kid you not!!!!!! Superior to what, a kids finger painting stuck on moms fridge!!!!! Jeez.....
Lol, you don't get it do you, liquid.. as in LCD, as in old screen technology.. and did you really describe retina as a technology lol? Its marketing buff!!! Are the 326 ppi screen resolutions still less than 720p baby HD? Lol. in other words, fancy words for an old product...Only the XR and 11 have Liquid Retina technology. Apple doesn’t advertise the 8 as having Liquid Retina, because it doesn’t. Perhaps you were listening to a carrier ad or an ad for a local cellphone store, but either way they got it wrong.
But yes, Apple has an excellent marketing department to go along with their amazing products! Even the non-Liquid Retina display is an outstanding display, with 326 ppi pixel density, P3 color gamut and TrueTone auto-white balance. Even though it’s 2017 tech and pre-dates the release of Liquid Retina, it’s an extremely high quality display.
Says Who?? A person that lacks the vision to see actual FACTS?This is just a terrible analysis.
A few random criticisms based mostly on opinion and personal preference and ignoring tons of positives and the larger picture.
You ignore the positives and overall performance of the company because you have your own personal axe to grind.
