I got mine - originally wasn't supposed to come until first week of October. Picked it up at UPS today! It feels noticeably lighter to me and I actually love the titanium. I'm coming from Stainless Steel Gold Series 4. I'm thrilled!

Does anyone else’s Digital Crown feel tight? I received my silver Ti today and comparing it to the SS S5 I picked up over the weekend, the SS’s crown is noticeably easier to turn.

Slightly tighter than my series 4 SBSS but nothing I am concerned with. I actually like better...

What band is that? looks great!!

Hoco? Got it from amazon years ago when I had the original Apple Watch. The brushed hides scratches pretty good....maybe even holding up better than my polished SS Breitling band Lol.

Another update. Avg day at work yesterday and a round of golf today....not doing anything different. My watch hit my clubs a couple times putting clubs in/out of my golf bag.... not a scratch yet.

The more I wear the titanium the more I REALLY like it over the SS ive had before. I dont get this whole titanium vs aluminum thing. From far away they probably look pretty similar...but closer there is a discernible difference. I didn’t get the titanium to impress others. I wanted something different and like the brushed look. Sapphire crystal face was a must for me, which the aluminum doesn’t have. Doesn’t matter much to me..but the titanium is definitely lighter than the SS. It also matches my SS brushed band pretty good. Got 11 more days...but so far it looks like I’m going to keep it. Here are some more pics.

Not golf for me, but I agree with your observations. My only complaint because I am a picky bastard, is that the SS lugs from my existing bands are too shiny. It's not a big of a clash as with the aluminum, but I hate that they aren't perfect. Not a show stopper though, I really like how this watch looks.

I would really love to see some first party leather bands with Ti lugs (or some very high quality 3p ones).

Mine is super smooth. I have noticed over the years of buying AWs that they don't all feel the same crown wise.

Received mine today and I'm really happy with how it looks. I've only ever had the SBSS models up until now, and I think this will be a really nice change of pace. The titanium really does take on different hues depending on the lighting and surroundings. I took a few photos outside, inside with cooler LED lights, and with warmer incandescent lighting and it's like three different watches.

I really do like how it looks with the space black link band too, although I imagine opinions on that combination may be polarizing.

Here are some photos with a few different bands in different settings, alongside another chunk of titanium:

Sounds like someone is bitter to know how easily the Titanium gets scuffed. You shouldn’t have told the poster that as if you’re his dad. I can confirm these Titaniums have a more noticeable scuff than the other kinds and this information can be useful to people worried about this sort of thing.

Yes, bitter about a watch that can easily be returned. So bitter.

Really, i was just pointing out that it was unnecessary. Maybe that was lost on you, kid.

I want to thank the members here showing all the photos in varieties of environments, straps, and angles. They are all very helpful and appreciated.

My Space Black Titanium just arrived in Newark, NJ, next stop, the customer service center so I can pick it up first thing in the morning before work.

I am really looking forward to seeing in person how it pairs with my Space Black Link.

How has the overall WatchOS experience been for you all? I bought a Space Black SS on release day and I’ve been Luke warm so far on battery and slight lag. I’m hoping it’s just this particular unit, as I haven’t seen tons of complaints. Curious the general thoughts from others.

I’m probably the wrong person to reply given it’s my first Apple Watch and I still don’t really know how to use it, but overall it’s growing on me. I’m a runner and was on the fence between AW and latest fenix and choice AW since I still have a functioning garmin 735xt. The first run was underwhelming as I expected but everything else, once I start learning how to interact and use it, has gotten better today after a full day in the office. Out the door by 5:45am and I just got home (8pm) and the watch is at 49%. Most of the interaction is me fiddling with it since I don’t quite know how to navigate smoothly yet.

now that I know it won’t be my running watch, rather everything else only, I’m changing my approach and will see how it goes.

i have the SB Ti btw,“still” scratchless 😅 (not that it’s an even remote concern or care of mine)

Pointing? More like stressing. And what does it have anything to do with returning it?
But I appreciate calling me kid. It made me feel 40 years younger.

I’ve tried desperately to scratch mine even with a kitchen knife and they wipe off.

Try harder....

Like... with real life objects, (i.e Brick walls, various door handles, brushing the watch against a grocery cart, maybe even grazing a stainless grill, garden tools...) You know, things that people actually come into contact with every day.

Do report back, thanks. 😁

Ugh I want a space black titanium so bad!!

But I have a space black stainless series 4 and spending another $1000 just seems so crazy. my space black was perfect but I dropped it in my bathroom onto my counter and the tile put a nick in the casing

What to do what to do? LOL

I mean, take advantage of the two week return policy. You obviously are interested in spending the S5, then if you really want one, see if it’s worth your money. Or you could sell your series 4 to help offset some of the cost.

Yeah selling is such a hassle especially with the stainless models and this blemish in the casing will definitely hurt the value. i would use my last accidental damage claim if I could recoup the cost.

All depends on cash flow, could always get the S5 SBTI as your main watch and keep the S4 SBSS as your side watch for when you sleep, work out or anywhere else it could take a beating.

If you run a lot then consider using WorkOutdoors app. It adds a lot of metrics that you'd be used to on the Fenix and also includes interval training routines that you can create.

Also, if you have a Stryd, their app works really well without the need of anything other than the stryd footpod and the watch.

IMHO that band looks really cheap. Does not match that watch well.

My natural titanium is currently shipped but I’ll be returning it for the SBTi simply because I can’t give up that DLC finish and I currently own a genuine SB link bracelet that I can’t give up on either.
