10 years in political leadership and you’d be called a dictator. Funny how the same doesn’t apply in business…
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Tim is weak. It’s easy to be conservative and only look out for investors and bottom line. But look what he’s done in 10 years: turned Apple from an exciting trend setter that everyone roots for and trusts into Microsoft, a boring and conservative cash pig that all my friends are moving away from. When was the last time you looked forward to a keynote? Why does Tim’s ego not make him understand a half dead carp fish could do a better job at those? To maintain profits and executive bonuses, prices will continue to increase. Apple would do well to find a replacement now, but fat chance of that happening I guess…

And what a pipeline it's been!

Has it been though?

iPhone was already created, and it's mostly been very modest iterations since then.
The Macbook already existed in its mostly similar form, and was an embarrassment from 2016-2019. (butterfly keyboard, removal of ports, touchbar, thermals).
The iPad already existed.
The watch is a joke.
Airpods are probably the biggest product success in the Tim Cook era (a shockingly huge one).

The steady progress forward for iPhones, MacBooks, and iPads has all mostly just been from hardware progress from acquiring TSMC over time.

I'd like to give a shout out to the incredible engineers behind Apple for keeping performance moving forward, because I'm not sure I'd argue there is a ton of other actual innovation happening.

Cook is, however, an incredible executor and business professional, growing market share, demanding outrageous rev share percentages from developers, and solidifying the platform.

I look forward to the keynote every year. This year will be no different. And you certainly are entitled to your view on Apple, but they produce products and services that hundreds of millions want to purchase.
My latest purchase from Apple is iPad 4 which was released on November 2, 2012. I can't find anything I like any more.
Everybody should buy the products they want. With recent record revenues, the masses do not appear to have the same line of thinking.

Tim Cook is a quality old school leader with manners and due care for customers and society.

Look at the people who are turning Silicon Valley into Parasite Valley:

Zuckerberg one of the most hated human beings on the planet.

The crypto bros drugged out of their minds on their fanatical climate destroying ideology and stealing millions of dollars every day from poor people buying their scams.

Thiel and his friends who are warmongers who invade everyone’s privacy.

Yeah, that’s why Crook bends over and takes it from China, and he’s building a backdoor into your phone.

AirPods are something special?
I sure think so. When they first came out, EVERYONE wanted them. I see them all over the place, all over the world - especially when I travel (how people use AirPods on an airplane is beyond me - I'll use over the ear noise cancellation for that).

I love going jogging with just my Apple Watch and AirPods - I have an LTE watch so I can take important phone calls / texts while I'm on my waddling excursions if I have to.

Over the last 2-3 years I've had the privilege of traveling to dozens of states and several countries for work. AirPods are everywhere. My whole family uses them. I've got 2 sitting on my desk right now - I use them for work calls (teams), and for listening to music.

I definitely think they're pretty great devices. :p

This is just silly. Steve is not responsible for the Apple Watch, AirPods, M1, incredible iPad Pro redesign, etc. and these are all great selling and very impressive products.
And Tim wasn’t responsible, too.
Does he even know how to hold a pencil?
Steve Jobs did at least scribble the stuff and have ideas.

Not even Jony Ive could stand this scumbag anymore and went elsewhere.

Pretty sure my daughter needs to have her’s surgically removed from her ear. She is wearing at least one at all times.

I agree they are fantastic. I love mine too. Ignore others, there are some here who want attention by trolling because their lives have no other purpose.

Everybody wanting them makes them special? Really?

"I don't like the notch, go back and make it work..get rid of it! Don't come back until it's been fixed!"

Comes back with a notchless phone with face id.

It’s both the best and most popular smartwatch on the market today. Whether you personally like it is an entirely separate question, but it’s an extremely successful and well-liked product.

Tim is a good CEO. Yep, no one can match Steve but he is doing a good job overall. I am really excited about the M chips and Apple Watch has been a great surprise.
People love to whine but Steve was one of a kind and most companies usually fold when someone that amazing leaves or die.

It‘s the biggest thing that’s come out under Crook.

I don't have one, do not want one, have no interest in one, have no need for one. I will say though, that it is most likely the best of it’s kind out there.
