Tonight 1am order online for in store pickup Saturday

I can finally end my obsession with this thread! I managed to find a 128 grey 6 plus at the Chestnut Hill, MA store. My brother picked it up this morn and it is on it's way to me as we speak! Keep in mind that if you have another person pick up your phone, they have to be listed as a pickup contact in the apple system. Also, if you are on Verizon, they need to be an account manager on your account.

I would like to give a BIG SHOUTOUT and THANKS to the iStocknow guy. This person has done us all a HUGE favor by helping us identify where the stock is. Whatever your name is, thank you for doing this - you have helped countless people here find what they were looking for. A big thumbs up for you :)

I can sleep now.
 
Guys... This also your achievement honestly, this been built with this thread, thx for your support. Not finished :)

We had a shortage on the site due to the traffic, but fixed now and should be even faster than before.

At urgent measures
- We put a 30s cache on the map data. Yeah 30 seconds only. May stay while traffic is huge, don't look like an issue to us, the popup window is still based on most recent data.
- We removed the data points where products wherent available. Need another implemantation. WIll be back soon.

New shops are still coming. Events delayed a bit :confused:
 
Apple store shows multiple stores with the phone I want available to pick up, but when I get to the checkout page shows that they are all unavailable. I've tried to buy via 4 different locations. This is frustrating!!!

Anyone else having this problem?

***Update - I was able to checkout using my app - only one store still had it available. Hoping the order actually goes through!

****Literally just placed the order (not my top location for pickup, but still doable) and less than 5mins later it is says it is ready. That seems crazy fast!

I have yet to get an email alert for istock now.. My apple store has never really had stock for the phone I want though.


It would be cool to get an alert if it is in stock at Best Buy and Target as well.

Finally after talking to several people, I got a rep that knows what's happening with eligibility resets with AT&T.

The rep has to have their manager accelerate the next payments and this clears it out and resets your eligibility. She said we'll have this done in just a second. Came back and said if you have a case open, it locks the system and they can't do the reset on their end. She said when the case team is done (which this team apparently does nothing), she'll be able to reset it if they don't.

Point being, call until you reach someone that knows they have to get their manager to accelerate the payments to reset. Oh and don't have them submit a ticket/case or you're just screwing yourself.

bestbuy local has yet to receive any, still in pre order phase. Target supposedly got pluses everyday for the launch week and suddenly stopped yesterday.
 
So I returned my 6 tonight because i want to get a 6 plus, and i asked the guy about ordering on a 2 year contract for in store pickup and redoing it as a next plan.

He said that there could be an issue if you do it on the same line, but i asked about buying it as a 2 year contract on a different line, returning it, and then purchasing it on my line via ATT next, and he said theres no problem with that. Once you return the phone from the other line, you can immediately buy it on the one you want it on.
 
I just ordered a Space Grey 6+ 64GB at Costco.com. Keep an eye on the link below and it should come up again. My confirmation emails don't say when it will ship yet, but it seems like Costco isn't selling them unless they have stock.

Has anyone had success with purchasing with 2 year upgrade and switching it to Next at the Apple Store?

Also, I ordered the phone using my cousins line on my plan, but after purchasing with Next, am I alowed to switch sims so I can use it on my line??
 
Gardens mall (south Florida) has Verizon iphone 6 plus space gray 64gb finally in stock.

Ugh wtf had a 6 plus in cart and had to add my card and it gave me an error then it was gone.

Hoping another magically appears/:
 
I feel you, have been checking every morning and my store would never show any updates inventory.

I check a little while ago and what do you know, the only option that is updated is the one I want

Seems like the best time to check is starting at 2:30am EST

Yeah I noticed that. I actually bought one from someone here at a 70$ Premium which is fine because this is a pain. I was looking for another because this one has an issue with the home button out of the box it's like scraping the hole where it comes out of which is aggravating. I was hoping to buy one and do an even exchange but looks like it's a white box replacement for me
 
The hunt is over

Without the help of istocknow I would have never purchased my 6+/att/128/SG for in store pick up tomorrow.

As quick as the email came in I started typing, by the time I was done it was no longer available at my Apple store, had to settle for store in another town.

As fast as the notices went green they were all back to red in 5 minutes - you really have to act fast !

It was fun, good luck everyone, I hope it wraps up quick for you

OR... Can I choose to cancel 2 year price and purchase full price at pick up??? Please help
 
So, I'm guessing the plethora of Space Gray iPhone 6 Plus 64GB models showing up at Target right now are all preorder stock that's already been sold?

Also, does anyone know if Apple Stores are updating their systems as Target did on October 1 to handle personal pickup NEXT upgrades? Or is Ralph de la Vega still trying to punish us?
