Thats ridiculous, i did a return and i got my eligibility back in 5 minutes.
Talk about ridiculous. I returned mine Monday and still can't buy through Apple.
AT&T reset it immediately but Apple servers are taking its sweet time to be fixed with this glitch
I'm freaking out. I just got 3 emails and 4 text messages saying the phone I want is available at my store and I check apple and it said it was and i checked out in less than 30 seconds and it had an error and now its gone but the istock website keeps saying its available and unavailable 
I want a 6+ and return my 6. I think I'll return for a refund a wait for a 6+. I think lots of stocks are coming and the iStockNow site will be an asset!
It sure seems like it. 64GB is the hardest to come by around me. Have only seen it twice since launch and both times it was available at the same store in Philly and gone within about 5 minutes. I just ordered one through Verizon just because of the trade in of $200 for an old 4s and they let me keep my promotional data.
You wrote that at 10:23. That was about the time I was walking out of the Domain with the phone you're looking for. See my post on the previous page, but if you see your phone become available on the online Apple Store at your store the night before at 1:30 am, then they will have a few left over for the earlybirds in line the next morning.
Thanks for the heads up, I'm about to give in and do the 2 year contract at 1-2am this morning if they're there, but I'd rather do the Next option. Just figuring sat at the domain aren't like the weekdays were i can get there at 9am. I think i saw someone saying they were there at 6am and there was already a couple people in line. 4 hours is a little too long for uncertainty. Have you been there on a saturday morning?
Those with eligibility problems, if it's att, should call att. I was waiting for mine to reset and after a couple days I called. If you've cancelled a preorder more than once then your eligibility is probably frozen and waiting for an investigation Thats what was going on with mine. It was reset less than 24hrs later.
Have a quick question. I received an alert for a 6+ SG 64GB and went through the order process on the Apple website. Luckily I saved the page at checkout to a PDF. It showed that it was available for pick up and I chose that option, but I have not received an email confirming anything. I went to my order history and its not listed there either. Is this normal because the Apple store is an hour away and I plan on going first thing in the morning.

Check with the actual store again later. When i ordered my girlfriend's phone, I went into the Apple store about two hours later and they had no record when I gave them the order number, or her email address. It was only when they searched under MY email address (the designated pick up person) that they were able to see the order, but still not fulfill it.
I ordered around 7 p.m., order was still not ready at 9:30 pm. Did not get the pick up email until 10 a.m. the next morning. You may have just gotten a lazy apple employee who only searched using the order number and saw nothing.

Yup...the WORST. Problem with a big city...more people, more scalpers, more everything. And this is always the case with any sort of popular launch item....Playstation 4, Xbox One... living in LA means there will ***ALWAYS*** be a shortage at launch unless you preordered or camped out.

a Verizon 64GB Space Gray 6+ keeps appearing and unappearing from my Apple Store instantly... Like there's no time anyone could possibly buying that thing. iStocknow keeps saying it's there and then I check it it is on apple for a second then i check out and get an error. and then istock says its out of stock and so does apple and then istock says its back but apple doesn't and then both say its gone... I'm so confused!!! They're like baiting me and then taking it away at the last second

Again, for those on ATT Next, you CAN go into the store and get, Apple to change from the subsidized contract to a Next plan. I just did it yesterday. Got a 128GB Space Grey plus. Woot! Keep up the hope guys.
Of course your mileage may vary. They were hesitant to do it because as soon as they return the phone, it goes back into their online inventory and someone else could buy it. Also, ATT has to reset your eligibility. I told them I was ok with that and willing to risk it. For me it worked without a hitch. Eligibility reset instantly.
