Bar the post BGR post outage, nothing to report here. Going as smooth as it can.
Yeah we have the emails flowing. We'll had a "recent events" in the store popup so that you may check that stock has come in (will be incomplete, but also give you an idea of monitored action for a given shop)
Target is now updating every 2 hours (manual before). The update takes nearly 1 hour...

My experience with the DFW stored is that the inventory displayed is pre-order stock. According to the guy I spoke with yesterday, Target's NEXT system was working 10/1 but went down nationwide yesterday and won't be back for at least a week.

After 2 weeks of trying, it finally happened- ATT 64GB Space Gray Plus showed up this morning Birmingham Apple store
Hopefully a sign that the shortages are coming to an end......(although looking around this is the only store within 300 miles that has them available right now)

today was the only day this week that i didn't leave early to check the grand central store.....and as murphy's law would have it, the only day they actually had any in stock by the time i got there.
and by the time they got to me in line all that remained was 16gb on ATT. the hunt continues.

Two examples from yesterday are below. Their mobile department isn't in yet so I can't confirm these are still pre-orders but I assume so since the guys both said they are still working through pre-orders before selling to the public.

Quick question. I used the apple store app last night and placed my order for an iphone 6 plus for pickup today. If I cant get it today, how long will my iphone be held for pickup at the apple store before the order gets cancelled.
Last year they told me to wait until I received an email confirmation. Took another hour.
Eligibility reset after 6 days! Now time to search. Looking for a plus sg 128 gb att in austin. Anyone been seeing these at the domain?
Yep walked in. That being said i found out which store had stock for order than made sure I was first in line, got there early and brought a book. They only had two of the 6+ SP 128 ATT this morning at the apple store I was at in St Louis.
Honestly the hardest part was not having a second cup of coffee and not getting out of line to git ride of my first cup of coffee

They actually have or had (3 days back) 3 iphone 6 plus 64GB SG for AT&T. But refused to sell since they were being held for preorder.
Exactly went off of the email. The reality was I was at the mall at 7:30am store opened at 10am. Brought a book, yes a real antique paper book, did some reading and at 9:50am they came out and gave reservations for devices. While it did consume about 4 hours total it was still a bargain since I have wasted far more time than that checking stock, forums and FlightAware.

does istock show 64/128 for the preorders that are being held?
For those wondering, I was able to add a line to AT&T when I did my personal pickup then when I went in store to pick it up they let me cancel the pickup and exchange my 6 on my main like for the 6 Plus. Took a few extra minutes but it was easy!

Today was the day!!! And I only got my phone on account of the generosity of the gentleman in front of me.
Last night about 1:30am, the Austin Domain store updated online that they had AT&T 6-plus in Space Grey with 128MB. Of course, a few minutes later, they were once again unavailable.
However, I trusted all the talk I've read that they don't put all their inventory online and save some for walk-ins. So I made sure to get to the Domain at 8am. I've been getting there at 9 (opens at 10) and it's been wide open, but I wasn't taking any chances.
There are two guys in front of me. One is a regular scalper, so I know he has two friends nearby who will join him right before the store opens. Number two is a wonderful gentleman who had a gold 6 in his shirt pocket, but wanted to exchange it for a 6 plus, and get one for his wife. I know the scalpers want T Mobile and Verizon. Luckily, the number two in line, does, also! BANG! At number three in line, I should be 'first' for the AT&T.
Store eventually opens, and the scalper and his two friends snatch up six 6-plusses. Next up my guy tries for his, but can't get it. The scalpers took them all. There are only two 6+ let, both AT&T. So he takes one AT&T Six Plus. I can barely here him asking about it, and think I must be wrong - did he just ask for only one phone? I am crossing my fingers as it comes to me, and they have one left! Wow!
Then the guy in front of me says "they had two left. I just wanted the plus because the 6 I have is too small. I know you've been coming down here a couple days, so I didn't get two. My wife can wait."
WOW!! Right now, these 128gb Grey plusses are like unicorns, and the guy in front of me let's one pass to be nice. Maybe he reads this forum. I thanked him, but if he reads this, I thank him again. What a blessing.

For me it took about 15ish minutes. I went t the store to try 6 vs 6 plus since I had a 6 preorder waiting for shipment and the store had 6 in stock. After deciding to go with the 6, I canceled my VZW preorder, gave the eligibility a couple minutes to reset and placed my order for pickup at the Apple Store. I asked the lady there if I could get in line, but she said I had to wait for the ready email. So I went around the corner to get some food, and while I was waiting on my lunch I got the notification I was ready for pickup. Hopped in line after lunch and was leaving 10 minute slater with my new toy.
istocknow showed a Best Buy with stock of the phone I wanted. Went to the Best Buy and they said they didn't have any .
