Tonight 1am order online for in store pickup Saturday

actually earlier in the week, I was searching manually on the apple site and missed my 64gb plus probably by seconds during the checkout process. Got the dreaded "there was an error during your order"
Just FYI, but we already know that most of the Target hits are from pre-orders that have to be scanned into their inventory and show up here, especially for anything over 16G. However i stalked an ATT 64G SG plus on the tracking site at a Target about 45 min from my house and when i called Friday, he said it was a pre-order. The phone still showed all weekend though and i called when they opened today and asked if anyone had picked it up, he said no and that they held it from Friday to close of business Sunday.
I politely asked if he would sell it to me if no one claimed it, so he tried to get a hold of the pre-order person one last time to no avail. Drove and picked it up a couple of hours ago. So don't write off the Target phones if you see the same model for a couple days in a row.

People are predicting a restock this afternoon, but nothing for sure.
I believe last week's Monday restock for CA came during mid/late afternoon.
Just wanted to reiterate that Monday mornings are worst day to go. Visited 4 stores today and it was absolutely *********g DESOLATE. Was first in line at a major flagship store today and they didn't have SINGLE LOUSY PLUS PHONE IN STOCK. Everyone in line bounced immediately.
Seriously Apple, you know the majority of people looking are seeking pluses. Is it really beyond the scope of your abilities to tape a piece of paper on the inside of your glass store that says, "No Plus Iphones today."
Nearly missed getting a Tmobile Plus at the second store, but of course the 'buy em out and send em to China' crew got them all.

Thanks, I just scored a 64GB SG 6+ at Target doing this same thing. I saw it sitting there all weekend and your post triggered my memory.

It looks like today's restocks have been pretty weak. I would anticipate a huge inventory refresh either tonight or in the AM.
A lot of places completely cleaned out of stock most of the weekend. Come on Apple, let it rain iPhones.

Yeah of course I get my eligibility back on Friday and the apple stores in austin have been wiped out since Friday afternoon. If it doesn't come tonight I'm heading to the store in the am
Where was this at? I'm lining up tomorrow and a T-Mobile would be freakin awesome because I'm actually with T-Mobile and could set it up on a EIP rather than pay full price right up front. If they don't, my plan is to just buy a Verizon or AT&T "device only" but man, would I prefer not to have to.
Assuming that Apple stores received shipments through out the day today and there didnt appear to be any major inventory updates at the usual times, there has to be a huge cache of iphones ready to be pushed for in store pick up.
I sure hope they release it tonight as opposed to in the morning. Just need one more phone and my search is officially over.

I got our 2 last wed on a pretty big shipment of pluses. But I have been watching istock and there has been pretty much zilch since then.
I swapped my 6 for a 6+ from a big shipment last week, too. Now, there's nothing around here. Bah.
It's been pretty sparse in my area also after a relatively plentiful supply last week. A friend is still searching for the SG 6+ 128GB for Verizon after missing it a couple of times.
However, I thought there was a week long holiday going on in China now, which was why a big shipment came in on planes just prior. Not sure how it's observed relative to factory work and shipments out of the country, but I imagine it's causing some delays until it's over.

Remember that the 'Reserve for pickup' stock is different than stock for people just "walking in off the street".
All the online stock checkers (idevicenow, istock, etc) query the Apple website to see if it's stock. And Apple's website only shows the stock for 'Reserve for pickup'.
So it's very possible that the store does have stock even though it shows 'Not available for stock pickup online' (and istocknow says they're out).
