My 15" is still processing but I ordered it from a third party not directly from Apple. Do hope to get it within the next two weeks which would be nice.

I received a shipment notification this morning with a scheduled delivery for Mon 11/14, and was excited that it would be delivered earlier than promised. However,.... I just received UPS Exception Notification: "We were unable to load the package on the plane as scheduled." Doh! I got another with a resolution: "Your package was released by the clearing agency." These were sent/received at 1:12 PM PT and 2:03PM PT. Hopefully it means there won't be any delivery delay on my end.

UPDATE: It now has a Departure scan listed about an hour after the resolution. Estimated delivery is still unavailable.

UPDATE 2: Scanned in Louisville KY. Scheduled delivery is back to 11/14 by End of Day.

UPDATE 3: It's in Oakland!

UPDATE 4: Just arrived (9:15 AM PT). Woohoo!

I see the same thing for my package status. The delivery date of 11/14 is gone (now says information unavailable) which seems ominous.

Ditto on that. Same "unable to load package on plane" message. Damn. I was really hopeful it'd be here Monday. Hope it at least makes it here by Apple's estimate of Wednesday the 16th.

I'm very excited to go play with one in store. I originally started out hating the new MBP but I've come to actually find it to be a compelling option. I'm definitely on board with the whole USB-C move and I'm happy that Apple improved the trackpad size and keyboard as well.

HA! Definitely NOT real translations.
[doublepost=1478986753][/doublepost]

Because this video was from like 2012 or something like that. These are fake translations.
I know man... I was kidding. :)

I'd probably believe it to be fake because that exact interview is years old and has been translated to comment on other foolish things apple has had the courage to do in the past.

Having said that, what is being translated is probably been monitored by Apple to see what response is given. So a dongle for a keyboard is probably in the works.
I know man. I was kidding.

I'd say it's more relevant than your comment. At least it gives us insight into the supply chain and alludes to the likelihood that you will be able to try them in every Apple Store soon.

Totally agree. I ordered one (had to) and it's due mid-December. This lets me know that, maybe, mine might ship out a bit sooner. Which would be good.

Apple has become better about managing expectations on orders. They estimate long…and then surprise! Not a bad strategy at all.

Earlier today I found a computer shop selling new (or unused I guess) MacBooks circa 2010. I forgot how thick they were, but at least they had optical drives. Really miss that full fat unibody design, but not £800-miss.

So I'm assuming they'll be making their way to third party retailers this week as well. I'm contemplating picking one up to see if the Touch Bar is really all that and the bag of chips Tim said it was.

Mine still says processing with eta of 16th to 23rd Nov. Got my order in literally a couple of mins after the keynote finished. Any other Aussies got a "preparing for shipment" or "shipped" notification?

Mine says "Processing" too for 15-22/11. Historically orders are batched to Sydney first so next week is still possible...

Same here but mine now shows as departed:

Microsoft Surface Studio announced the day before and ready to demo in Microsoft stores that same day. Apple won't demo it until customers receive it. Sounds like they are afraid of reviews hampering sales.

From what I can tell, the review embargo was supposed to end on Wednesday, but for some reason it's still on hold. My guess is that they want the election **** to die down. Sending the reviews into that negative environment might not be the best for PR.

I ordered 5 15" custom 1 hour after to ship to Portland, still Preparing for Shipment state.

I ordered a a 15 inch standard higher end unit 45 minutes after seminar for delivery to Oregon and it went to Preparing to ship about 26 hours ago. Still same status.

I am one of those cases where apple is stating 11/16, but UPS tracking shows 11/14. Odd.

I ordered about 4 mins after the store came up.

Edit: My MacBook was a 15, highest-end graphics with 1TB storage.

It's highlighting the fact that people are silly enough to buy the machine.

Or that the gripes and complaints of the vocal minority are just that - a very vocal minority. Who have contributed absolutely nothing except make the forums more toxic and unpleasant.

While these critics are complaining about how the new MacBook pros lack this feature or can't do that, people will be unwrapping their new laptops and putting them through their paces.

And I can think of no better way to rub this irony in the critics' faces than to see all those customers happily using and enjoying their New MacBook Pros.

I cannot wait to drink in their tears of impotent rage and humiliation.

I just want to reliably use USB-C with Macbooks. The USB-C to HDMI dongle is getting HORRIBLE reviews with shoddy video out, and seems third party HDMI dongles aren't much better. Watch this:

Looking forward to the unboxing and reviews. Hope Anandtech's review isn't far behind. Always look forward to those.
