I have the 4K X, HDR is not working. Latency is not an issue when using the Elgato with the app Console Link, which BTW also works great on the iPad! But as mentioned, HDR is not supported.

MacOS + Capture Card (any it seems) do NOT support HDR!
-> https://help.elgato.com/hc/en-us/ar...ns-and-Frame-Rates#01HRZ5JFPAWNJWNKT0DATZ122X
"HDR capture is not available for macOS, as macOS does not support the required video codec. HDR passthrough via HDMI is available. HDR video will be converted to SDR by 4K X before going to your Mac."

*Latency is 100% an issue when playing FPS (even Black Myth Wukong is hard-er to play because of the, yes small, latency)

Just seen there’s now a version of the Startech cable that does DP 1.4 - so this should support 4k and HDR right?

Interesting. I think the CAC-1336 uses the LT6711GX-U2 and the Startech uses the LT6711GX-U3?

I've ordered the Startech HDMI 2.1 to DP 1.4 cable & 2 bidirectional USB-C / DP 1.4 cables from Cable Matters and Startech. Will let you know if it works on Wednesday, but to be honest I don't have much hope. It's worth trying nevertheless!

What do you think about

Club3D CAC-1335 HDMI™+ Micro USB to DisplayPort™4K120Hz or 8K30Hz

+ bidirectional displayport -> usbc?

Or do I need older adapter?

I'm giving it another shot and just ordered the Belkin Charge and Sync Cable that's supposed to work with the PS5 in combination with an HDMI/DP converter. Fingers crossed...

And it works! Only in 1080p though, the screen flickers when using 1440p. HDR looks fantastic!

One small step ..., small success on the road to victory🎥

To make sure, you have what exact config?
- Belkin charge and sync (as seen below)
- What else?

My setup:
PS 5 Pro - HDMI/DP adapter - Belkin VR cable (https://www.vopmart.com/belkin-char...X7w9QAFwvJXcHDin0UHTKH14rhpWs19HNCjTigOMn890t) - XDR
These are the two HDMI/DP adapters I tried:
The DeLock 64213 (https://www.delock.com/produkt/64213/merkmale.html?f=s) and the StarTech 148B (https://www.startech.com/en-at/display-video-adapters/148b-hdmi-dp-8k). The StarTech seems to use a newer version (U3) of the Lontium LT6711GX than the DeLock, though both work exactly the same with the XDR.

So the best you can get with this current dongle setup is 1080p, but with HDR?

Any news? What's the cheapest option to get HD atleast? I am usually playing on my 4k TV, but sometimes I wish I could just connect it to my Studio Display.
