Oh they charge more on iOS To cover that fee?
Why don’t everyone else also doing that? Charge higher fee on iOS instead of on PC or Mac.
I always say this: user should pay the markup, not the business.
Or Apple will start yelling “eat losses yourself or I’ll kick ur a**”?

Apple has no legal right to take a 15% to 30% cut as one can simply use Safari on iOS to pay $8 yet if an app displays that same webpage inside of their app to make it simpler for the user not having to goto safari and back into the app Apple demands a cut that's down right criminal, even if the app takes you out and into the website in safari Apple demands a cut or they ban the app, even tho doing it manually is fine.

No legal right? lol. It’s their store, they can charge what they want. A developer knows the rules and policies. If they want an app in the App Store, they need to follow the rules. It’s like signing a document when you get a job that says you agree to not use the company computer for anything other than work and be shocked when you get fired for watching YouTube all day.

30% is also industry standard. Google, Sony, Microsoft, Steam they all charge it. I don’t see anyone complaining about them.

So sign up on the website instead of through the app.

I am not a fan of Musk, but I do have to agree that the 15% - 30% fee is too high. Apple charges developers > $100 per year (can’t remember how much because I quit development on the App Store a while ago) and then more for subscriptions. Google has a one time fee of like $30 to develop on that platform. I never had any apps with subscriptions on that platform so I don’t know how much they charge over there. Apple makes so much money off the backs of those developing on their platform.

Apple has every right to charge anything they want…..it’s their system. Do you go into a supermarket and say you have no right to charge this price for milk ?

For people that don't like ads in the Twitter app just use Tweetbot (costs a few bucks). Zero ads. There are a few others. The big question of course is will Elon kill third party apps.

I really don't see how anyone could use the Twitter app. I deleted it ages ago.

Like him or dislike him, only a fool would bet against one of the most successful businessmen of all time. Hate to disappoint, but Twitter ain't going anywhere.
Only a fool would pay $44 billion for a money losing company and proceed to alienate the prime/only source of revenue (advertisers) so it loses even more money.

Only a bigger fool would praise the first fool for it.
