How so, explain, genuine question, reason for this question, I am from NL.This is going to be one hell of a tax write off for the musky one when X goes the way of Lycos, eWorld, and TalkCity.

Some people are actually trying to sell their iPhones with Twitter App installed 😭
Twitter was cute, friendly, trendy
X seems soul-less
I barely even use Twitter anymore. This app has lately been full of negativity, bullying, bots, people arguing with each others everywhere.. always gives me negative energy everytime I open it.The key is not to apply the update. The X sign is so uninspiring, cheap and generic.
Delete this App. RIP Twitter!
Would A new “Tweet” be called, “XTweet”?Funny how it still says “Tweet” on here.. I wonder what they’ll change this to 🤔
Elon couldn't be more like a cartoon Bond villain if he tried.
Unfortunately, all of social media is like that. 😕Pre-Elon Twitter was like that as well.I barely even use Twitter anymore. This app has lately been full of negativity, bullying, bots, people arguing with each others everywhere.. always gives me negative energy everytime I open it.
Been thinking of uninstalling it for a while, and now that it has been changed to “X” which makes no sense at all, I might actually do it![]()
I will say that Elon is left brain and graphic design is not his specialty.
I think it’s going to end up like GoDaddy.comSo stupid. Can't wait until X is Myspace.
I don’t want to turn this political so let’s be careful, but where are you seeing Nazis and hate? I follow a few conservative talking heads but mostly science-type stuff. I’ve never come across any nazis. That’s not to say they aren’t there, I’m just curious where you see that stuff?I've been on Twitter since 2008 and for me, the one major change I've seen is to force people to use their own site as opposed to 3rd party apps, and then force their algorithm on us all by showing us nazis and hate. He's acknowledge as much by saying everyone deserves a voice and that he actually likes the hate people tweet at him. Doesn't matter if it's "Twitter" or "X".. There's still Nazis and hate.
Masculine isn’t his personality. It’s what he aspires to someday be. His personality is spoiled chubby trollish manchild. It is sharper and more masculine. Fit's Elon's personality. If you drive a CyberTruck you'll want to use X, not some bird app.
Yeah, I remember the same thing happened with Flappy Bird a decade ago and I thought it was so stupid back then too.
There are no shareholder values since it is no longer a publicly traded company. The value of twitter has dropped, but that is a musk problem, not a shareholder problem. How’s that shareholder value looking less than a year later? 🫠
That’s right. But it has gotten worse after Elon took over. He started off by firing lots of employees, then he added the stupid blue checkmark subscription thingy, which has allowed so many bots and fake accounts to be easily verified. And now he’s changing the brand’s name to “X” which makes no sense at all..Unfortunately, all of social media is like that. 😕Pre-Elon Twitter was like that as well.
I seem to recall a website called Amazon.comSo stupid. Can't wait until X is Myspace.

You mentioned it on your reply, but still didn't get it. Investors, not shareholders. Different things. That's just not true.
Musk didn't pony up the $44 billion all by himself. People like Larry Ellison and a Saudi prince all took a small stake in Twitter / X

Musk's major shareholders at Twitter include a Saudi prince and the crypto exchange Binance
Billionaire Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal and his Kingdom Holding Company rolled over $1.89 billion in Twitter shares, he said Friday.fortune.com
Investors who would get ownership stakes in Twitter were also expected to chip in billions. Musk’s original slate of equity partners included an array of parties ranging from the billionaire’s tech world friends with like-minded ideas about Twitter’s future, such as Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, to funds controlled by Middle Eastern royalty.
Billionaire Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal said Friday that he and his Kingdom Holding Company rolled over a combined $1.89 billion in existing Twitter shares, making them the company’s largest shareholder after Musk. Another equity investor, the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, confirmed Friday that it put in $500 million.
Than I would argue you are not paying attention:Some of the takes on Musk and Twitter/X are pretty funny.
Twitter was a hot mess and losing massive money when he bought it. He came in and gutted the dead weight and people were screaming it would crash and burn without them. It kept right on humming and one has to wonder what all those people were doing. Twitter/X usage is now at an all time high.
Musk paid $54.20 per share and people laughed at him. The stock went down 20 something percent after the sale but has slowly crept back up to virtually the price he paid for it ($53.70 as of this morning).
He has a vision for what he wants to turn it into and it remains to be seen how successful that will but, but the guy is the richest person in the world for a reason so it would be kind of foolish to think he is doomed to fail.
I'm not a big fan of the X name, but it's not like he hasn't used it before (Space X, Tesla Model X). The notion of deleting an app because it was renamed is truly bizarre.
I just don't see the dumpster fire that others do here.
