So everyone knows, you won't be able to get UPS to release your package early. The iPhones are all together at the sorting facilities separate from other packages. I tried many years ago, asking them to release it because the facility was 8 miles away from my house. Offered to pick it up there. It's not going to happen. The package arrived to the UPS facility on a Monday and sat 8 miles away until it was delivered on Friday.

I just wish UPS put a higher priority for delivery time. I remember when UPS used to deliver my iPhone at 9 AM. [the iPhone X days. UPS rang my doorbell at 8:30 AM].

That 8 PM delivery hits different.

Maybe but I got one of FedEx tracking number from AT&T yesterday (Saturday) at 8:17 AM ET "Label Printed" and as this moment it is in FedEx custody at the AT&T Ft Worth Distribution Center.

I have not seen my UPS tracking numbers from Apple yet but they were late starting taking orders on Friday morning. My AT&T Order was submitted at 7:42 AM ET Friday.

Interesting. I was let in on Verizon’s website about 2 minutes early which surprised me and I have received my tracking number. Of course Verizon hasn’t actually shipped it yet because they always ship it with two day delivery which is why on the UPS website it just says that the label was created. Makes perfect sense and I ‘m sure the actual tracking will be available by Wednesday for the 9/20 delivery.

Pardon me, I haven’t read all nearly 3k posts. Sue me.
lol, don't worry about it. That said, every question has likely been answered in the last 4 pages.

But it does give us something to do while waiting for UPS to update our shipping info. Though we'll soon be switching over to installing OS updates.

I’m not sure my friend did me much of a favor 24 hours ago, helping me see how to track my phone, because sooner or later I’m gonna have to get up and take a piss.

right!? and you used to know the general timeframe.... like anywhere between 10 and 11 for us.... now it's 10 one day.... 5 the next.....

Reading these posts of "where's my tracking number"; and getting worried comes from mainly UPS.

Maybe UPS should not be so forthcoming with tracking details and be more like Apple.

Apple won't say shipped until it leaves SDF and then gives you a tracking number.

16 Pro 256 Black. I wasn't able to order until Sunday. Staring at October 3-8 for delivery. I leave for a 2 week trip on October 4, so I'm really hoping for the 3rd or sooner!
Apple usually delivers earlier than expected I remember when the X came out I didn’t get it in time and said it would be a month or something I think someone at the Apple Store said we have an AT&T phone instead of t-mobile able to be delivered in a few weeks

I had my alarm set for preorders and the one time it doesn’t go off is for the iPhone preorder so I didn’t get my Pro Max 256gb Dessert Titanium in until 9:46am EST, nearly two hours after the preorder began. It’s been stuck at a Oct 7 - Oct 14 delivery date but I know in the past some orders would get pushed up and make it to launch delivery. Think there is any chance with a Oct 7 - Oct 14 delivery date that it actually gets here Sep 20? I keep checking in store pickup and seems all of the stores in Miami are out of the Max’s.

No update for me... running RC and no change.
Same for me. I'm on the RC and turned off beta updates a few days ago. The official release of iOS 18 isn't showing up for me.

If we are running the RC of iOS 18, can we still transfer everything over to our iPhone 16 once it arrives? My understanding is both devices have to be on the same version of iOS but will the RC qualify?

EDIT: I think this thread answered my question. Should be all good?

Is there still anything similar to packagemapping.com available for easy tracking of the iPhones as they make their way over here? Looks like that no longer exists.

There's some movement on my Canadian black Pro Max pre-order. It departed Shanghai. I think it could be this flight, bound for Anchorage. Departure scan at 11:40 p.m. on the 16th there. I could be completely wrong re the flight.

First scan since the 14th, when it arrived in Shanghai.
It does not look like a flight to Canada. It is going from ANC to ONT (Ontario, California) for West Coast USA deliveries. Did your tracking number start in Kunshan City and then Shanghai?

Dave

Canadian orders usually go to Louisville and then to whatever Canadian city they are destined for.

Yeah, it looks like RC is the same as the GA release.
