My schedule's pretty full tomorrow anyway - it's my birthday, there's a works outing for lunch, my daughter has 1st grade school fun run and the usual College football Saturday game is actually tomorrow night instead so I'll be keeping a very close eye on where the UPS driver is via the app so I can be home at the right time...

Ayy. Happy early B-Day!!!!!!!!

Apple will not allow for any deviation to delivery unless you want your neighbor to sign for it.

$9.99 to change the date of delivery.

No other options exists this year - no UPS store, no UPS Access locations, etc...

Yup, noticed it's hardcore no change of delivery this year. Last year wasn't an issue, just had to call. They are not budging this year. Just means I get my phone at 5/6 pm vs 11 am. All good.

Got my shipped notification from Apple. Looking at flights headed to AZ. I'm guessing it will be about 4:30 out of Louisville based on the UPS flights I saw scheduled. Tomorrow is the day folks!
I’m seeing two flights from SDF to my local hub scheduled for today, and two for tomorrow early morning hours. Wondering which one it’ll be on 🤔

Apple as the shipper must have instructed UPS to be restrictive - probably due to past fraud issues, angry line of customers at the CC hub, ID issues, and thefts ?

I know the shipper holds the cards when doing business with UPS - I used to send high value items and had the power to not allow any delivery deviations. Even the number of attempts could be changed to 1 time and then return back to sender!

Just sharing my experience from last year, do what you will that information. I just know what happened and what I was told, ymmv. Maybe I got the wrong driver and customer service rep.
I know. But Apple puts those releases on your order page so you can print them when a signature is required. I feel like UPS does what UPS wants with signatures on iPhone day. I had a signature required from Best Buy once opened the door she asked for my last name and handed it to me signed nothing.

Weird… I was in My Choice last night.. and it gave me two options… leave with neighbor, or change delivery address. And the change address option for me was $14.99. I was too scared to try to make a change so I exited.

My watch and phone are with ups.

The watch is coming from Carlisle PA.

My AirPods aren’t with ups yet but they are coming from Ctdi kbb jeffersonville.

Never heard of that before

Kudos to him, good driver.
Years ago, when I was in college, I was expecting a delivery of some small accessory that didn’t cost much… And I was expecting a laptop to be delivered later in the week. I left a signed delivery release authorization to leave, expecting it to be for the accessory. It was in a crazy high traffic spot with a bunch of college students walking several feet from my door. I came home from classes to see my laptop, sitting there against the door. It had come several days early, before the accessory. Thank God, no one stole it.

Pumped for tomorrow! Haven’t had anything delivered via UPS since the beginning of the year, but looking back at those deliveries, they were all at my doorstep before 12 PM; simply hoping the local route hasn’t changed too much. Fingers crossed!
