It’s very pale! The keynote definitely made it seem darker! It’s pretty…. But light. In truck on the way home from picking up so can’t take photos yet!
Yes and I am glad since some early reports were that it looked the the old "Gold" color which I would not have been happy with today.

Sorry but the decision is up to the driver if the shipment details don't require a signature. Your driver decided it was not safe to just leave it by the door this morning. Call the number on your Missed delivery notice and discuss your options.

In some markets UPS will be making a re-delivery attempt tomorrow.

Dave
I called, and they said they would attempt tomorrow, around 12:30. Which is odd because my UPS tracking info says Monday. Hopefully they do indeed come by tomorrow, as I am not available Monday. I've had Saturday delivery before, but for iPhone. I wish I wouldn't have left.

At least others did not have to sign...

I got a live tracking map, and the truck has been stuck on the same road, literally 100 yards from my house, for the past 20 minutes lol. I’m actually thankful because no one had been home for the last 20 minutes and someone just returned, so I’m good :)

UPS driver must be taking his lunch.

"One never realizes how many different app alerts pop up on your Apple Watch, until the day one is on hyper alert just for Ring Doorbell alerts. One also never realizes how many random things trigger Ring Doorbell alerts until the one day all one wants to know is when a UPS delivery person comes."

Pretty sure this is a quote from the Daila Lama

I feel like reviewers were downplaying the side difference of the Pro Max. It’s not life changing off course but it’s definitely quite noticeable when using and holding it.

Yeah, I had the 6s Plus for a couple years, an X for a year, then the Xs Max (or Plus) for a couple years but 3 years ago I went back to the standard size. I loved the big screen but found it jarring to have it in my pocket and my hands are smaller than average so thumbing different parts of the screen during one-handed use wasn't too feasible. There's a part of me that's kind of tempted to go big again but I kneejerk-ordered the standard 16 Pro and I'm sure I'll love it. The compact size is just more wieldable for me and I do have the 12.9 iPad when I want a larger screen.

What a siht show!! Go to Apple store at 1030. "Sorry, we don't have an order showing for you". Finds it, tells me my phones are coming UPS. Speed home, wait wait...see UPS, goes right by me. Catch driver. "Sorry I am not carrying that". Call UPS. "You packages were rescheduled for delivery tomorrow". "BY WHOM" I ask. "We can't see that, I'll escalate to customer care, they will call you". Here I am waiting in anger.

I am upgrading, but you can almost tell how this version is being received. Today is launch day and this thread is only 198 pages. The same iPhone 15 thread is 900+ pages.
Has nothing to do with the reception of the phone, it has to do with the fact that a number of VERY heavy posters aren't around this year.

Yup, for some reason it feels noticeably heavier than the 15 PM. Obviously so, but did not think it would be as noticeable. Hoping I'll get used to it.

In comparison, it's not THAT much heavier than the 15 PM but feels that way

Just as many of you mentioned, UPS definitely wanted a signature from an adult from household and would not just leave by front door as specified on MyChoice. Luckily wife was able to get to door and sign for phones!

It was nice of driver to deliver them early, truck generally makes a 2nd trip to deliver to us much later in evening!
She’s a keeper.

Anyone else have their phones start somewhere other than Louisville? Mine are coming from Carlisle, PA which happens to be 20 minutes from me. Both of my sisters phones came from there as well and they live in Jersey.
Most Pro/Pro Max phones originate in China and come through UPS Worldport in Louisville. Many of then-Pro phones this year seemed to already be stateside in various regional distro centers, like Carlisle, PA and Ontario, CA.

Apple always requires signatures to release their shipments. If they did before, it was drivers who faked your signature to release.

If you have the notification tag you “can” have them redeliver to you again, which ever works.
Not the case. Apple requires it on some, not all, deliveries. If you look at your shipped email, it will tell you if a signature is required.

UPS, at their drivers discretion, can require a signature. Their call, not Apples

I'm so irritated! I don't know what to do. I left my house, and they attempted to deliver my package. Apparently it needs a signature. I haven't needed it in the past, and it said that NO WHERE on my shipment details. I thought they would have just left it. I would have not gone knowing I had to sign for it. I have no idea where I would even pick it up, but it seems the UPS customer centers are closed on weekends, so I have to wait until Monday - which won't work either because I work in-office. So irritated.
Apple didn't require, but UPS, at their discretion, can require a signature.
