I was able to pick up my phone last night at the UPS location. Success!

For those wondering, my initial shipment prediction was Sept 30-Oct 2. So things are moving quicker than expected, although I know your mileage will vary.

For anyone that wants to pick up their phone from UPS, talk to Apple now. It took multiple days for the request to reach UPS.

Same initial ETA as me! I got this pre-order in 7:04AM 9/13 too.

When it shipped UPS gave me a 9/26 delivery date, and that’s been revised

As of today mine is still in China…

A little off-topic but sorta relevant I guess - for those that are on the Apple Upgrade Program, have you received your Trade In kits yet? Mine says it delivers 9/25-9/27 but I have no tracking information for it whatsoever nor do I see anything on FedEx, UPS, or even USPS.

Just curious.

Hey guys, this is my first time joining the iPhone upgrade program, and it says it is shipping in October. If one pop ups in store I understand I have to cancel my order and place it for in store pickup. My question is will I have to reapply for the iPhone upgrade program or does the approval stay in the system and I can place a new order without having to reapply?

Yikes. I sure hope mine doesn't sit there that long. Apple order status page just moved to "shipped" with no date showing. previously showed Oct 3-8.

When it move to Shipped on your Apple Order Status page. Your new iPhone is now in the US and most likely sitting in Louisville, TN waiting on a ride toward your address.

Mine says the exact same thing. I've read that some people have received their kits but not me. Nothing on the shipping companies either. I think I'm going to call Apple tonight and see what's going on. It definitely seems like the kits are taking longer this year than previous years.

My trade-in kit arrives today. Someone will be getting a most excellent 15 Pro Max as it still has 100% battery life. I kept it on the 80% charge limit, like I am doing with the 16 Pro Max.

UPS keeps at me to renew my My Choice membership, but it's on auto renewal. Last year, I fell into that trap and had double charges. Had to call UPS to remove one.

Mine is showing Out For Delivery...my original date to receive was Oct 2nd-7th. I'm wondering if there was a shortage on certain colors/storage space.

After getting excited that I’m getting my phone early it’s apparently still in china 😂

Something tells me that what’s coming from Louisville with 2 day air is the trade in kit isn’t it? :-(. Sucks

Phones were .40 pounds I think. Zhengzhou is the phone factory

Phones were .40 pounds. Yours looks like a kit but Louisville is strange for that item and they don’t come from china. Zhengzhou is the phone factory so this is odd
No there are 2 different tracking number in the 3 screenshots from @AeroSatan. The phone is in China or maybe on a flight east and the second delivery is a return-kit from Indiana for delivery today.

I can’t believe the phone is in china for like 5 days trying to clear some customs. Meanwhile the trade in kit is being rushed 2 day air. Make it make sense.

Sorry for your delay but it is very easy. Last week there were massive amounts of iPhones to be delivered on Friday the 20th. There were additional Contract flights added that were full to the max cargo load with iPhones.

Now it is slowing back down to normal shipping and your iPhone and thousands of other's orders are waiting to fill trucks and then on to the first plane on it's way to you. They don't ship 1 at a time.

The standard shipping that Apple uses is 2nd Day Air. They get a bulk discount and customers want their return-kits quickly.

Ok that makes sense. Thank you.

Does anyone else have a delivery date of Oct 7-14 even though pre-ordering very early morning on Sept 13th?

Your iPhone is being shipped from China via UPS Worldwide Express Saver®.
Your trade in box is being shipped from the US (Indiana) to you via 2 Day Air.

Makes sense to me.

Do you know which method they send out the iPhones? 2 day or one day overnight?

They said it’s gonna be delivered on Monday but I’m doubting that.

I have an eero 7 Max to access my 2Gbps fiber internet.

This is my 16PM on an Ethernet cable. I had done a previous wifi 7 speed test, but failed to screenshot that one, but it was symmetrical with 1900+ Mbps! Blew me away!

My 15PM did something around 1400 Mbps on the eero.

Crazy to have to finally give up on my iCloud restore as it was 30+ hours and still had another 15 hours to go if I was lucky. Something not right there!

Is the Eero 7 worth it?

I ordered my 16 PM on September 13 @ about 5:10 am. I opted to have it shipped instead of store pickup & i got a delivery date between October 2-7. Got my tracking # on Monday & i have a delivery date of September 27. I think all of the inspections are done so hopefully it’s out of China by now. They seem to be moving the orders fast this year.
