The Fee is for a courier to personally delivery your iPhone. It is clearly listed in the Check-out step. You have an option to make an ISPU or for $10 more have an Uber Eats, DoorDash or other delivery service bring it to you.

Because it's an additional fee because whichever phone they were originally going to ship me was stuck in China. I didn't request it be sent sooner. I didn't request a replacement. I was simply waiting for the phone to leave China. I don't have an issue with a courier being paid; I have an issue with Apple deciding I'm the one to pay an additional fee after I've already paid and been charged for the phone.

Maybe I didn't express this clearly. The $10 less to pick up in store was compared to the price of the phone they were shipping me. I don't mean that they offered to deliver it to me today from the store to my home for an additional fee. I mean that on pre-order day I ordered a phone to be shipped to my house. It hasn't made it here. Apple decided all by itself to send me a 'replacement' that will apparently be here tomorrow. And then they charged my account an additional $10.

I can't believe I'm talking this much about $10.

Yes that was what happened based on your post and mentioning that if you do an ISPU it was $10 cheaper. You left us to logical difference between ISPU and a Courier delivery from the Apple Store

Sounds likes someone at Apple may have hit the wrong button. Only way it could be $10 more is if they hit the button to add Express Shipping. This is not an option on a regular order.

Well you may get to talk about it more when you update us on the extra $10 after you talk to Apple again for the return of the replacement iPhone they said would arrive tomorrow.

Goddamnit. None of the stores in the entire state of PA or NJ have any stock of the 256GB Pro max in Natural Titanium and the Desert Titanium.
 
apple's site is saying shipment delayed. and ups is saying awating clearance. But the tracking details says its already been cleared, and no movement since the 26th. anyone in my same boat? oct 2-7th original delivery date
My original delivery date for my 16 PM White 512GB ordered on September 13th at appx 5:10am was also October 2-7. I got an updated delivery date of September 27 but it was delivered September 26!

I plan on ordering a 16 Pro Max as an upgrade for my wife's iPhone 13 Pro Max. We are on a 3 year upgrade schedule; I'll get the 17 next year to upgrade my 14 Pro Max.

Since we fly out for vacation on September 20th I don't need delivery on the 20th. My daughter will be house and dog sitting and can put it somewhere safe but we don't return until October 10th.

I won't be getting up at 5:00 AM to place a preorder. How long would I need to wait after 5 AM on Friday to get an estimated delivery close to October 10th? Thanks.

Delivery date has been pushed to Oct 15 - Oct 22. That is fine but I was charged in full for the iPhone and Apple care on September 26. I don't remember Apple charging that far before shipping the product.
 
Has anyone received their trade-in yet? Mine shows UPS has delivered my 15 Pro. I just wanted to know if they gave anyone a few dollars more this year for their trade-in.

No please check again as you should have only had a hold and it should fall off within 7 days with a ship date that far out.

I just got my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I'm setting it up now. Wow, transferring your phone number eSIM to the new iPhone is awesome! 🤩
Ah when it works it is great but when things go wrong it is very difficult to get some carriers to fix it remotely. Most times they want you to visit a store. Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T I am looking at you...

Hahaha. I'm back to say I got my $10, and it wasn't even a struggle.

Since I'd picked up (and kept) a phone yesterday, I took the one they shipped and arrived today right to the Apple Store nearby. Didn't even open it. Walked in, said there was a mix-up so I'm returning this one unopened, then asked hopefully, "Does this mean you can turn around and sell this to someone else today?"

I was so happy when she said YES.

Someone is gonna have a moment like I had yesterday: "Dude! They have one I can go get today!"

I know getting iPhones isn't as exciting as it was for a period of years there, but I still like it. :)

Thanks for the update on your adventure at the Apple Store. Glad you got the iPhone you wanted and could also make someone else happy with an unexpected iPhone being available at the store. The $10 error is indeed easy to fix since it was such a simple error.

I cancelled my order and will pick up a new phone tomorrow. I'm going to keep my old phone until after I set up the new one at home. Then I'll return it once I know everything is properly transferred.

Once I realized I definitely wanted Desert, I ordered AGAIN… with an expected arrival of 10/22-10/29.

After stalking the Apple Store app, I was able to secure a Desert 256GB for pickup yesterday! I had to drive a couple hours to get it, but I got it!😆

I kind of did the same thing. I ordered natural titanium and then realized my current phone is that color and the new order was going to take a long time. I wavered between desert and white and ended up getting a white one. I'll pick it up tomorrow and won't need to wait. I already have a case too.

Yayyy! I thought I wanted something different; I’ve had every gold iPhone, dating back to the Xs Max.
I’ve since come to terms with the fact that gold is my jam… why fight it?! Lol
 
Been well over a week since any stores in my area (Metro Detroit) have had black 1TB pros, anyone have any idea when we can expect a restock?

Need to buy in person in store because my company's HR can't figure out the EPP link, but in-store they confirmed we still have an active discount.
 
Anyone else with an iPhone Upgrade Program order seeing an extreme delay with Apple marking the trade in received? FedEx tracking shows it arrived a week ago, still no acknowledgement from Apple.
Yes. They received mine on Wednesday. I received the message saying it would be finalized within 24 days. No update since then.
 
So, Apple says my phone is being delivered 10/8 but UPS says “label created” on 10/7? Also says it’s coming from Lebanon, TN?

Which iPhone did you order? It seems like they have plenty in stock that it will start shipping out from one of the warehouses in the US. Lebanon,TN being one of thr 4 warehouses.
