Ordered the 16 Pro Max for pick up at my local Apple Store! Picking it up at 8:30am on launch day! I went with pick up this time because I’ve had two Apple Watch’s and two iPhones stolen out of the back of a UPS truck within the last year!

the night before, they ship overnight usually and are flying in from alaska -> kentucky -> to you the morning of delivery

I had my gift card already added in my Apple account and it applied it, no problem. My AppleCard was charged the difference.

Mine was added to my account too but every time I would try to add my balance it would just revert back to zero every time. I canceled my case order that was attached to my order so I can put it through separately with the balance (and also get the case early too)

Ordered two Pro Max 1TB phones through the Veteran's store. Saved me $340 vs buying through the regular store! Apple Card cash back is worth another $90 or so off. Sweet!

I just pre-ordered the iPhone 16 Pro Max in Desert Titanium (512GB), and I’m already thinking about protecting this beauty with a good case. Does anyone have any recommendations for a case that balances protection with showing off the Titanium finish?

I’m looking for something durable but not too bulky, and bonus points if it works well with MagSafe accessories. What are you all planning to get for your new iPhone?

Apparently apple increase initial orders from suppliers by 10-15% overall, so we might have more available supply than last year.

That would make sense. Also seems like a lot of people are going to higher storage tiers, I just went with 128GB again.

I went right back to sleep after our 5am orders and didn't post, but wanted to check in to say both hubby and I got launch day orders in for our phones, both 512GB Black Pro Max. He got in instantly as the clock struck 5am...it took me another minute or two (felt like 2 years) to get in, but both orders went super smoothly. Cards have been charged, emails received, orders showing up in the app, new Citizen's loan numbers received. Now we wait!

Annual upgrader here (not IUP, just retail less military discount + trade-in) and this morning’s pre-order was the smoothest I can remember. 2 separate orders through the Apple Military site, both with trade-ins, and one with an Apple Account Balance to be applied…both successfully submitted by 8:06am EST.

It's the same one I have on my 14PM and what I had on my XS before that. I already have the new case from Amazon (arrived yesterday). As a side note, it fits my 14PM perfectly - it just doesn't have a cutout for the mute switch, and has an extra cutout for the new camera control thing. It's totally functional for my 14PM though.

I like this case because it seems like it provides very high protection, feels very good in your hand, looks good and has cutouts for a tether. Works with MagSafe, no problem.

They make some "lesser" versions that may be what you're looking for. Somewhat less protection, but if is important to let everyone see your phone:

I got charged for tax on my Apple Card ~ 4 hrs after the clicking order. Through Apple web order via Verizon finance plan.
