Mine just went to processing and I have not been charged yet. Order through Apple pick up via Verizon

Apple charged my card, in full ($3079.46), about 3 hours ago.
Same setup here but for T-Mobile, now 7 hours later no charge
I think this is the first time I’ve seen this thread so small in many years. Last year, the iPhone 15 preorder thread was longer than this one BEFORE preorder day even arrived. Where is everyone?
Oh my.. don’t take this wrong, that you made me laugh, but you did —> because I can relate, I have been struggling trying to decide this year if I should get a new phone (I’m on the 14pm) but I finally said “screw it” it’s my “final act of defiance” since I won’t likely be able to do it again. Relating to “foolish” too because my budget is saying heck no but someone owes me 1k and I’m foolishly thinking I might get it back.
I’m going to live long enough to enjoy the heck out of this phone and hope you do too!
Mine flipped to Preparing to Ship a little while ago. Quickest I've EVER seen that happen.
More specifically, it will flip to Shipped once it clears customs at the UPS hub in Louisville.
They deleted my tracking thread and pointed me here. Above my pay grade...I’ll be here! I just woke up and notifications say a post I made hours ago was deleted but I don’t understand what’s what.. it said something about reply to moderated post??

I have terminal cancer and a life expectancy of 12-18 months. Most days I don't even want to get out of bed. So....probably not.
I was up at 4:55am PST this morning, whew and that was not easy for me! LOL
Was able to place my saved pre-order quickly and without any issues, done with everything by 5:05am. Then back to bed.
I ordered the iPhone 16 Pro Max, 256 gb, Desert titanium. Delivery on September 20th. I just checked the order page for the first time, and to my surprise, it's already "Preparing to Ship" status! Very happy with the pre-order process this year.

Oh my heart goes out to you.. I lost my husband to lung cancer on thanksgiving 2022. We had hoped for a year but got 11 months. If you want a friend I’m here.
Went back to sleep after placing my pre order, got mine in at 5:03. And like some people have already posted, checked and it's at the 'preparing to ship' stage. I feel like the past couple years I didn't see this till like Sunday. I bet we'll get tracking numbers here shortly! And then like last year(s), the flight tracking madness this weekend into early next week.

You will miss the excitement, but also the anxiety, so I think it's a wash!!!
I forget how much anxiety (excitement too) I get from these forums. I see everyone going to preparing to ship and I’m frantically checking mine waiting for it to update. Like I have to tell myself “dude, calm down. You ordered two minutes into preorders. It’ll be here.”
