So is it just me or was the experience much much better this year. Last year I didn’t get in until 8:30ish
I grew up just down the road in the 02719!
Annoyingly my screen protectors and Popsocket magsafe holder might be delayed until Sunday for some unknown reason (lol thx Amazon) but other than that! Casetify goodies on the way to arrive by Wednesday 
Mine says “will be ready for in store pickup”
Then says “order placed”. Not charged yet

Forgot to change my primary pay method to the AC. 🤦🏾♂️
Still managing to get the launch day delivery surprised me, iPhone 15 launch I pre ordered and didn’t get in till a few minutes after 8 and was already pushed back a week after launch for delivery.

Ditto here too. I was just happy to get a launch day appointment, 1:00, the first window was 10:15 at my store so that was pretty good.
Overall smooth preorder process for me. I used the link in the email for the saved phone which took me to the App Store on my iPhone. I kept closing and reopening until it finally let me in.
Preordered two phones (in two separate orders) at 5:02am.
Received email confirmation for both at 5:03.
My credit card had the first pending charge at 5:20am and then again at 10:47am, so 5 hours later than the first charge.
Just wanted to post this for those who still haven’t seen pending charges yet. It can take some time.
Now on to the tracking of phones. Any estimates of when we should see movement?

Same here for in store pickup. I seem to remember (questionable at my age LOL) that the in store pick up changes to Processing days later than the delivery orders. (Someone else previously made the same comment.)
I thought it was a good comment and appreciated it being posted.
I also have seen virtually nothing in the 15 and 16 that merits upgrading from the 14, unless one REALLY, REALLY wants a USB-C port (which I did). If I didn't expect to be dead before the 17 comes out, I probably would not have ordered the 16.
I would not have upgraded from my XS to the 14PM if I hadn't killed my XS with Dr. Pepper a few weeks before the 14PM came out (although I would have upgraded to the 15, with its USB port).
If my wife didn't want a new phone (she has an Xr), I probably wouldn't have ordered one either.

Phones will come via UPS in the US. They use a mix of UPS and FedEx to deliver trade in boxes, and also use a mix of UPS and FedEx for cases and other accessories.
I went right back to sleep after our 5am orders and didn't post, but wanted to check in to say both hubby and I got launch day orders in for our phones, both 512GB Black Pro Max. He got in instantly as the clock struck 5am...it took me another minute or two (felt like 2 years) to get in, but both orders went super smoothly. Cards have been charged, emails received, orders showing up in the app, new Citizen's loan numbers received. Now we wait!
Just a heads up that this thread is geared towards orders made on apple.com....there's usually separate pre-order threads for each of the major carriers where you might get more relevant info. You're welcome to hang with us of course, but wanted to pass on that info.After a frustrating 45 minutes, I finally got my order: iPhone 16 Plus 512 GB Ultramarine color.
