Yes when I worked for Federal Express years ago, we actually got the new iPhones in a couple of days earlier than the launch day! I can't remember the model though.
They were locked in a cage and we couldn't even go near them.
This reinforces my theory that people who live closer to distribution centers get their labels printed later, as you live in Charlotte.
I had my tracking numbers on UPS MyChoice yesterday, but no additional detail yet. Hey Apple, think outside the box and deliver my iPhones on 9/16. 😂

Have you tried your phone number? By default it should show up in My Choice as soon as the label is printed. What configuration did your order?

They also come in waves and batches. Someone might not have a scan for several days, but they all make it on time.
Tracking has appeared for my iPhone 16 Pro Max on UPS myChoice! Nothing yet for my partner’s iPhone 16, though.

I use Anker’s braided USB A to C cable. Never had issues with CarPlay with it.
Agree some are still being manufactured (assembled) today. The inventory has to be pulled on complete units based on all the configuration options: model, color, and memory configuration. Then scanned and matched to your order.

Right, but once they arrive in the US, they land Kentucky I believe, and then are sent to distribution centers. So my theory is that for customers who are further from those distribution centers, they start the shipping process early.
On the other hand, someone from Fort Worth said they got a tracking number yesterday, and Fort Worth has a distribution center. So maybe my theory is flawed lol.
There are very few decent choices outside of the apple and beats cases, at launch. Every 3rd party launch case uses a notch for the camera button, which just shows lackluster effort (rush to market).
Do all of your details match between your order and your app profile? Name, address, email, etc?
