It's back up! Just my S10 Watch and Cases coming from Apple so far. It seems like it's been the pro versions that have gone prepared for shipping. I haven't seen anyone mention that their regular 16/+ have gone prepared yet. Perhaps the regular phones are already stateside.

At this point it appears you just matched another Apple Order use the Wxxxx string. Otherwise it should show "Label Created" or more steps...

Me too by entering the order # minus the last 2 numbers in my choice. Phone is in Zhengzhou, where iPhones go to die.

I believe they have to have the same iOS version.

I searched using reference and deleted the last 2 numbers of my order #.

Getting nervous that mine is still in processing. Order placed at 7AM with email confirmation at 7:04AM.

The scans and order status are not always accurate. Don’t worry, 99% of phones get delivered on the promised date.

I have a Black 512GB Pro on the way. No MyChoice activity yet. Is there a reason MyChoice may not pick up the tracking number (assuming the label has been created at this point)?

Now there's that familiar ZhengZhou, CN scan, did you just see that tracking number in UPS MyChoice this morning? I woke up and was hopeful it would be there, but so far not. I don't see it searching by reference number either. If I remember right from years past, I think when you search by reference number it only gives you the last 4 numbers of the tracking number. So that makes it hard to track.

Yeah, obsessing about where it is is just part of being on here. I've done this for so many years and I know it will arrive on time, next Friday, but I still want to see that tracking number and follow it step by step and I get frustrated when it's delayed showing up. 🤣

Using your order number only works if ups has created your tracking info. I have mychoice and I've been using my order number and still can't see anything.

My iPhone Experience

OK, for your viewing and entertainment pleasure this year, here's my iPhone experience, the full story.

Going back to the iPhone 4, this is how it goes. The third Friday of September (give or take, depending on when the iPhone is actually released) is a recognized holiday in my family. It is "iPhone Delivery Day." No other significant events or activities can be planned for this day, because, you know, it's iPhone Delivery Day. We celebrate this day, as our forefathers did many years ago (not really).

To begin with, I take the day off work, because it's a holiday after all. Vacation, personal day, whatever it takes. Then, it's a chair in the driveway or the front porch waiting for UPS (or FedEx). I know in reality (most) of the drivers are great employees doing their job well, but I don't want to fall victim to the (unfounded) conspiracy they "rang the bell but no one answered" effect.

If I go inside for a few minutes I tell the dog, "Bark if you hear UPS." You laugh, but she is amazingly good about this. Sure, I get the occasional "trash truck is mistaken for UPS" error sometimes, but that's OK.

Around Noon (if the delivery hasn't arrived yet) it's the annual iPhone Delivery Day cookout, where I grill some hot dogs and have hot dogs and chips out front (still waiting for delivery).

Whenever the iPhone arrives, the setup begins...moving data from the old phone to the new.

I am really fortunate I can get one of these phones every year, and I don't take it for granted. They are expensive, but they are my "one thing." For example, I don't golf, ride a motorcycle, boat, or travel to any great degree. My thing is the new iPhone in September.

The iPhone is my birthday present and my father's day present.

When asked what I want for my birthday or father's day, the answer is always the same two things:

1. The new iPhone the day it's available
2. No crap about item number one

I hope you all get your new phones on 9/20/24 (or as soon as possible) this year!

I say we just enjoy it, 'cause why not? There's enough trouble and unhappy stuff going on in the world, and they will still be there for us on Monday 9/23, so try to enjoy 9/21 and your new iPhone!

I love this story. Sort of mirrors mine except that I’m in FL where the humidity is 100% (no joke) and I get sick in the heat and humidity. My new obnoxious driver won’t come down the driveway to my door, first driver ever who’s done this, so this year I’ll have to sit out by my gate (very rural area) in my car running the AC all day until he arrives. I won’t be cooking out either, way too hot in FL summer hell. Another nice driver gave me a whole book of door tags but not sure nasty guy will accept one of those with my signature.

I ordered the Apple Plum silicone and the Sunset Purple Beats cases. I’ll send back one or both. Not thrilled with Apple cases this year. I have a case and wallet combo coming from MOFT as well and a couple coming from Amazon so I just have to decide what I’m keeping once the phone gets here.

I always get the Apple MagSafe clear case. Don’t want to hide my pretty nat ti in an opaque case.

You can go from a beta to the public RC. Just uninstall your beta profile. But either way no apple intelligence until 18.1

I got the fuchsia silicon and the pink otterbox lumen. I got ESR screen protectors...

I’ve been getting the Belkin glass screen protector, the one Apple applies with their fancy machine. It’s pricey but has a lifetime warranty if you register it.

I need some good quality usb a to usb c cables so i can continue to use all those usb pucks i have.

also need one that works with car play since reading reviews... seem there are many that won't!

i wish apple just make an a to c cable!

I think I get the Anker ones on Amazon. They work fine but just make sure they charge and also do data transfer.
