Don't like U2? Don't comment and whine about it - there's just no need. What's gonna happen IS gonna happen, and complaining won't alter it.

Simple. :)

You're new around here... First things first: welcome.

Now, just learn to filter out the whiners... Or just learn to enjoy the threads full of whining...

Just don't mention Palm (Elevation doing better it seems, Facebook Yelp Dropbox etc)

invested $325 million for a 25% ownership stake in the tech company. In 2010, they followed with an additional $100 million equity investment. They would lose half their investment in this stock, only recovering some of their investment when Palm was purchased by HP
.

November 2009 Elevation Partners paid $210 million for a stake in the social networking website. These Facebook stakes have quadrupled in value to $1 billion.
so not all bad bets. Yelp seemed a good return:

lp in 2010 to the tune of $25 million for a 22% stake. As of February, this investment was set to make Bono and Elevation $250 million.

Man.... if all the hype of a mysterious building and all of that secrecy is a.... stage for U2.... im so disappointed.

If its a stage there is no where for more than a few hundred people to watch.

I doubt any of their music will be preloaded on the phones.

Apple will probably offer a free download of their new single or album.

A pre-bundled U2 Album... this is not an incentive to buy an iPhone. I better be able to delete the album; Bono will not be wasting space on my flash storage.

Do people even read the articles?
"The New York Times says that reports suggesting the iPhone 6 will come with U2's newest album were false"

Maybe it's not too far-fetched for a 4.7 iPod touch A7 with hi-res iTunes and headphones by Beats. Hmmmmmm

Here's betting that U2 have done more for the world than ALL OF YOU PUT TOGETHER, financially and with their own time. Now, I bet that's why you "hate" U2, because you're just bitter and cynical, and complaining and "hating" is way easier than having a balanced, objective approach with informed opinions which are not based on personal biases.

It may be "cool" to hate those who everyone else says they "hate", but listen up folks - it's time to get a life and think for yourselves.

Instead of sitting around fawning over unreleased products, they ARE out there doing good - when did you do the same?

Probably not once.

Love it if true! U2 is one of my fav's so it like getting peanut butter in my chocolate!! Uno, Dos, Tres!

Lol at all the haters.....

----------

Steve Jobs would approve of this.....

Lolling we are :D

"Hate" some folks you've never met? Sounds like a genius move...

This makes me worried...why do you NEED a cover... err band to announce something if the announcement is KICK ASS AS IT IS?

maybe its NOT as innovative as we thought..

maybe U2 PAID to be involved...

"The New York Times says that reports suggesting the iPhone 6 will come with U2's newest album were false"

no one read before they bash...even on an Apple fan thread like this...bash bash bash.
lets see YOU make decisions that generate billions of dollars...if you think its so easy

Maybe Tim has a hard-on, no pun intended, for U2's music? he is about the right age....

I'd laugh SO LOUDLY if Apple announced the iPhone 6 models, then announced that U2 had bought ALL OF THEM, EVER TO BE MADE and were donating them to African families.

Tears before bedtime from the pampered western brats... LOL

I'd actually LOVE this to happen - this would be an outrageously cool blessing for them :D
