UK 14"/16" M1 Pro/Max MacBook Pro (2021) Pre-release, Orders and Dispatch Thread

Well based on my interactions (or frustraitng lack of) with customer service I’m not sure an extended warranty with them would be that good to be honest. I’ve asked them to cancel my order, but as yet nothing has been done. I suspect it will take cays / weeks, they are incredibly slow to do anything at all.
What’s your spec? From what I’ve seen on here it seems to be a fairly narrow group of specs that have shipped
When is it due? It’s not necessarily Apple’s fault, but it’s not even launch day so chill.
Ordered the base 14 inch with the 96W power adapter on Friday 22nd and says an estimated arrival date of 26th November - 3rd December. No change yet and still says processing. Any ideas if this date will get pushed forward? I am also without my 2019 13 inch pro for weeks as it’s gone for repair.
Reasonable - John Lewis also showing stock in most stores for reservation
That made me wonder - will DPD deliver faster if you leave a Sherry and a Mince pie out for the driver ?
I have a feeling this Costco tracking numbers might be for Parcelforce, not UPS
Even though when you click the link in the Costco website it takes you to UPS, the tracking number isn't the right format for them
And I've just received an email from Parcelforce saying they are delivering my shipment from Ingram Micro tomorrow.
I expect Costco are shipping straight from Ingram.

Judging by how things have been going you have a decent chance of getting an early delivery. I wouldn’t expect it before the 19th November though.
I received a text from DHL this morning with tracking information in - but it's not been updated since "Shipment picked up". But I have just received the dispatch notification from Apple which has updated the delivery range from "28th Oct - 2nd Nov" to "Arrives 2nd Nov"... Fingers crossed they're being conservative with their estimate as DHL is still showing "Estimated delivery: Date not available"
I would be in despair if it was Parcel force here - we have never had a parcel on time and texts and tracking information that keeps you in the house, when they haven't even received the parcel at the depot. An absolute shower.
Last year I managed to bag a M1 MBA on release day when Apple refreshed the stock, early in the morning around 6AM I found a suitable M1 MBA at an Apple store in Bath, which is only 15 miles away, I reserved for in-store pickup more or less as soon as the store was open. You should be ok - The London stores usually get a fair amount of walk in stock, get up early and see what is available.
This is quite possible, the last electronic I received from Costco was via parcelforce
My Costco order has also shipped! Strangely they sent an email with a tracking link that leads to UPS which doesn't work. Half an hour ago I received an email from parcelforce saying your Your parcel from INGRAM MICRO(UK) has been dispached and arriving tomorrow!
Not bad at all Costco given that we ordered on Friday last week when apple had 3-4 week lead time! Added to the launch day delivery we have 2 year warrantee + discounted price. What more to ask for?! Let's hope everything goes well tomorrow

14" M1 Pro 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 32GB memory, 512GB SSD. I agree, they may have a specific order that they're making them and shipping them. I'm not expecting any miracles, they said 8-11 Nov, so I'm prepared for that. I'm just getting excited and am majorly looking forward to it. First MacBook since about 2008.
