I’m thinking of returning my MacBook to wait to get the 32gb…. Problem is it has to be returned tomorrow 🤣🤣 wonder if I can get some extra time until the weekend
As long as you initiate your return within 14 days you have another 14 days to get it to them.

BTO showing delivery 6-13th dev for delivery. Given I ordered a week ago and initially got 8-15th. Looks like dates a week or so better.

Can you hold out 4 weeks?!
Possibly could hold out 😂😂

I’ve been hoping Amazon replenish their stock so I could do the 5 payments but not sure on their frequency as even apple don’t have them yet

Order now and see if you can get one in the meantime? At least you’re not losing time then

How did people get on with their Music Magpie trade ins? My MacBook was revised from £330 to £60 because of “screen damage” and “not powering on” - neither of which were the case when I sent it in.

At £60 I may as well keep it, so having it sent back. Who knows what condition it will arrive in. I am regretting photographing it prior to shipping and will certainly be checking the serial number!
I recently tried to sell my mint condition Nintendo Switch to them. £165 initial price, revised down to £15 for “not as described”… when they returned it they had scratched it up badly, so now even if I eBay it I will be down on the price due to the damage they caused. Needless to say I am not happy with them.
interesting as I think that was also one of the 'stock' congifurations available to buy from store? (could be wrong!)

maybe if so, they have a whole load of that config which will replenish stock and maybe yours will be treated differently and ship from in the uk.. i.e. DPD or DHL...

( that theory could to total BS too!)
I think it’s a BTO model from what I can tell, I haven’t seen them in stock anywhere. I do hope it is just coming locally though as I may be surprised and get it in the next few days. I’ve been without a laptop for several months waiting for this!

Woohoo! Just received a text from DHL with tracking number (which shows 'picked up' in China), but no delivery date. Apple order status still showing preparing to ship.

Order details:
16-inch MBP with M1 Max 10/32/16
64GB memory
1TB storage
US keyboard
Ordered 18/10 with original delivery date of 25/11 to 2/12 later updated to 19/11 to 26/11
CC authorized 8/11 and status chaged to preparing for shipment same day

Hoping DHL somehow magically delivers this Friday! What is the normal transit time for DHL?

It seems like a few people on this forum don’t know how to sell to CEX without getting played/scammed.

A few years back I sold my immaculate 12” MacBook to them, I took it to the shop and asked how much would I get for it, after 2 minutes of visual inspection, it was rated as grade “A” by them. I got a quote and I was asked if I was happy to proceed and leave the MacBook with them for 1-2 hours for further tests(battery, webcam, speakers etc). I was fine with that, then they printed out the receipt with the quote on it(grade A)and a disclaimer I was happy to leave the MacBook with them for further inspection! I signed that and left.

Couple hours later I walked out with the quoted price.

As bad as CEX is with their ridiculous high prices, there is no way they would deliberately damage a product as they want to sell it to the next punter for as much as possible.

If it leaves China today you have a decent chance of getting it on Friday. IF.

Be aware though that DHL tracking is likely to disappear into a black hole now until it’s virtually on your doorstep.

Okay well after calling Apple. Still getting the "everything is fine" thing from them, even from a higher up support person. I do wonder whether there's a batch that they're shipping directly from the UK.
