Seem to see variants of the pro base models (both 8 and 10 core) back in apple stores today. Don’t see any max though
Would they supply the likes of Amazon too?Fingers crossed Syncreon got a big old delivery of Maxes last night.
Yesterday too, actually.Seem to see variants of the pro base models (both 8 and 10 core) back in apple stores today. Don’t see any max though

Have you heard anything from DHL yet? It’s like 5 days of nothings is happening. My base 14" with 1TB SSD upgrade was placed 19th October, est. 19th-26th November delivery, got the DHL pick up notification on Saturday, and Apple says it will arrive Friday 12th.
Honestly that's standard for DHL shipments from China. They 'disappear' until just before they are delivered. Rest assured that they are making their way to the UK.Have you heard anything from DHL yet? It’s like 5 days of nothings is happening.
Nope, but I've heard what CD3660 said from others so I'm not too concerned. Hoping for some movement tomorrow though if it's really going to deliver on Friday.Have you heard anything from DHL yet? It’s like 5 days of nothings is happening.

Anyone on 9-16 November with no movement or card charges still? Getting a bit squeaky bum time now![]()
Apple would make two completely separate transactions unfortunately. They would not allow you just to pay the difference.Does anyone know if I went to a store to return my MacBook for a different model would I need to get the return refunded then buy the new one or would they let me make up the difference?
For example if I had a card with 5k on it. I wanted the max instead of the mid tier pro so would I have to wait for that to be refunded and then rebuy it?
If that makes sense??

First of all they would take back the return and refund your payment card. From my recent experience (last week) the money would show as credited to your account within 2 to 3 days.
Secondly they would sell you the laptop that you want to buy and charge you the full amount there and then.
Ah, didn’t know about the gift card route: Interesting. That presumably is a way of swapping your laptop without any delay waiting for the refund to hit your account. Excellent! You can also get them to refund it to a gift card so you can then use it again without the faff of waiting for the refund on the card. They have a limit of £2000 per card so when I returned MacBook #2 last week they split it over 2 cards!
