UK - Anyone's Macbook Shipped Yet?

Mines stuck in Northampton? Hoped to have it today..its not due til tommorow though so I suppose I can't complain. Its nice to know its almost here.

Has anyone experienced Tnt shipping between UK and Ireland...how long it takes? Do they use airfreight or sea?

Just checked TNT tracking and they have updated it t osay it had arrived at delivery depot at 05:22 and was out for delivery at 09:03, now hopefully it will reach the university porters office and they will add me to the list today so I can pick it up. Gonna have a shower then head down and have a look before buying some milk. Fingers croseed, if not I will look later after my lectures.
 
I don't get it. Could someone help me out here?

The email that I received from Apple when my order was shipped says the estimated delivery date is on or before 10th November. The Apple track your order page says the delivery date is 2nd December. 😱 The track this shipment page that is linked from the track your order page says it is 6th November. So which one is it?

I ordered on the 15th of October, so this is a long wait. See the images to understand what I am talking about.

Looks like your macbook is moving with mine, I am expecting it to arrive at the distribution center today. Hopefully for delivery tommorrow or thursday.

Although my email also said on or before the 10th novemember I think they are giving themselves some cover there.

I expect the 2nd December thing is a bug, mine still shows Delivers: 06 Nov, 2008 - 07 Nov, 2008

I have the exact same day planned. Porters, milk, everything.
 
Ahhh! This is taking forever, out for delivery at 7:44 this morning from Bristol.. i'm guessing i'm near the end of the route.. The wait is killing me!
 
This wait is very annoying x,x it left the depo at 7:45 this morning and I'm 2 and an half hours away from it... Guess it's gonna come in the evening =/
 
Just checked TNT again and it says it was delivered in good condition at 11.57! 😀 Not sure how long it will take to reach the porters office but I have an hour exam at 1 so hopefully that will give them enough time 🙂 If it does I will have an hour to take it back to my room (will have to go twice once for macbook and once for the printer 🙄 ) before I have the final lecture of the day - yay!

For people nterested (i.e. awaiting theres and want an idea on when to expect it)

Finally got a delivery scheduled! Says on :apple: website that it's coming today, and I got really excited when I just saw that, so I rang up TNT, and they said they will deliver it tomorrow. I haven't got a way of getting to the distribution centre unfortunately. 🙁

But still - 😀!
 
Just thought I would pop in to this thread real quick and say that a few of the John Lewis stores in UK (Brent Cross, MK store, etc) have the new MacBooks back in stock. No idea how many are in stock at each store or their warehouse but, JL stores are selling them at the same retail price as the Apple store and it would include 2yr cover from John Lewis instead of the 1yr from Apple direct - of course it has all the limitations of buying from JL instead of Apple too ie: no customization or accessories available but - an option if nothing else for those interested...
 
Mine came about an hour ago, on it now! And damn this is a sweet machine; definitely worth the wait!

got a call a few hours later saying there really sorry
and will offer me a £20 good will gesture
bull will be here on or before 11th
i ordered last tuesday

but 3days to ship and 10 working days delivery
is poor 😱

well £20 off means i got a free case 😎

the wait goes on
