UK - Anyone's Macbook Shipped Yet?

My tracking number now works on the international tracking page of the tnt site even though the apple status has not updated from UK DISTRIBUTION CENTRE.

Called TNT and they have it and it is in transit to the depot for delivery tomorrow (i wanted to pick it up tonight but its still on the road to the depot).

Just thought i'd let people know in case they cant to check theirs.

Turns out the estimated delivery date from my "order shipped" email from apple was spot on if its delivered tomorrow.

Hey, thanks for that, you're my hero! Even though nothing new is showing on Apple's site, I've just tried the order number on TNT's site, and My Macbook shows as "in transit". Perhaps I will get it tomorrow after all! I'd tried before, but I hadn't switched to the "international" tab.

Some good news at last! For anyone else on the same status, give it a try!
 
glad i could help. I called tnt as mine is saying the same: "in transit" and the really helpful lady (much more helpful than the apple phone people) put me on hold and called the depot and they said that it wouldnt be arriving until late so was no point me coming to pick it up tonight but they could either deliver it tomorrow or i could pick it up if that was more convenient.
 
Mine now recognises the tracking number but still has nothing in the way of details about whats happening with it.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow

Yeh it now turns out that after TNTs terrible website mess up that my apple email estimated delivery date will be correct. Good guess from them.
 
YESS! Thankyou guys, just checked TNT.. and its in transit! Really hope its here tomorrow.. my apple email did say the 4th aswell!
 
Weird, I was told the 4th, and it has been delayed until the 6th. Were you told it would arrive 4th-5th or 3rd-4th?

I was told 3-4th and looks like either the 4th or 5th... hoping the 4th as the apple page now states TNT as a courier though the TNT site still says pretty much nothing :S
 
I had been hoping, over the weekend, that it would arrive on Tuesday. Am now hoping for Wednesday, because I don't know how I can wait another three days!

Same for me... its looking like tomorrow, 3 weeks after launch!
 
Mine is just saying this for the last week. Does it mean it is with the carriers or is it still being processed. I got the invoice a week ago and some tracking numbers but they don't work. All it say is 'In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule'

Any help or thoughts please????

That's what mine has been saying. When did you order, and when is the estimated arrival?
 
Ordered 19.10.08, shipped 26.10.08

27.10.08~02.11.08 "in transit to destination country"

03.11.08: assigned final carrier :) A hour or so ago I was given a tracking number and it is with TNT somewhere in this place called "Nuneanton" :D

I ordered it on the 25th October and they estimated 10th Nov. They than said in transit to customer 4th November. I rang apple and they were no help. The guy couldn't have cared less about helping me which is anoying.

Id say by in transit to customer youll find that its on its way to Apple rather than yourself...

Id be very surprised if you saw it before the 10th... mine was ordered 10 days before yours and hopefully I should get it 6 days earlier than you if yours is on the 10th so Id say yours isnt doing badly :)

Same, but Nuneaton isn't too far away from me in Bath, it is by Birmingham and Conventry. Hoping for tomorrow!

Odd, I ordered on the night of the 24th, it shipped on the 28th, and is expected (now) on the 6th.

My details finally just changed after a few days to this.

Carrier Tracking Number
80######## (i have a real number here, i just didn't want to post it)
Assigned Carrier
UK DISTRIBUTION CENTER

Does this mean I can now track it via TNT/UPS or do i need to wait for another stage? Could someone post the link to the TNT/UPS tracking page.

It may or may not work yet.. but try TNT http://www.tnt.com/express/en_gb/site/home.html
Use the international tab.. and enter it as a reference.
I had to wait a few HRs before it would work for me.. but give it a go.
 
Just had a look at mine and it's been updated to have TNT as a carrier, when I entered the tracking number into the website it said that it had a picke up date of the 3/11/2008 and was "out for delivery". The end is in sight!
 
I just specced up another macbook + printer + nano + apple care and was quoted shipment within 24hrs and a delivery date of between 5th and 7th november. Obviously there are plenty in UK stock now.

A real kick in the teeth for those that ordered 3 weeks ago and are still waiting ;-(
