I don't know about you guys, but my Apple Store site clearly states no. of business days for delivery and shipping. So I expect that a shipment will be doing nada over the weekend and holidays.

Just checked tracking on the apple link, now says

"In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule"

Good sign?!!

Mine is now in Castle Donnington, United Kingdom 19/06/2012 3:00 Arrival Scan

And I was told delivery by end of Tomorrow ;-) so looks on schedule now.

Koeln, Germany 19.06.2012 0:25 Departure Scan
Koeln, Germany 18.06.2012 23:45 Import Scan
Koeln, Germany 17.06.2012 17:18 Arrival Scan

Hey, at least the package has moved. However, Köln is 70km away from Aachen and Herne-Börnig is 144km away, so they actually sent it in the wrong direction!!

Mines finally made it to the UK this morning... but no sign of it being out for delivery......

Seems like Apple last date of delivery will be the day if I am lucky..... 5 days slower than north American orders...

It seems that even merging orders made it to the UK quicker...

No movement on mine. Waiting for merge I expect. How many items have you all ordered?

does anybody have an idea why this is showing??

My card was charged this morning so I am going to assume it will ship from the merge centre today. Hopefully UPS standard service, which will come tomorrow evening for me.

The delivery term is really a joke .. it said delivery within 1-3 business days.
Ordered 13 june and today its shipped ..from china .. needs to be in the netherlands .. so that will take another week or so!

My card was charged on the 15th and still no tracking!!!!!!!:mad:

According to that expo… link, my MBA has been sat in LHR for ~50 hours now doing nothing. Bit of a poor show.

My status did update last night though; "In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule". You have to wonder which customer though; Apple is a customer of some haulage company, I am a customer of Apple.

I'm going back to bed for a couple of days, hibernate through the wait ;-)

Mine has just cleared customs and the Expo link says "ready for delivery" later today, but that will be to the courier, not to me. So hoping for a delivery to my house tomorrow or Thursday!

My package landed in Amsterdam lunch time on the 16th (Saturday) was "ready for delivery" in the evening of the 17th (Sunday) and is yet to be delivered to Apple for merging in a few hours. I'm getting so frustrated. It took apple 3 days to produce, one day to ship to Amsterdam, and now it's been waiting on the ground for three more days.

Still they have some margin because estimated delivery to Stockholm, Sweden is the 28th. Sooo long. I really hope, once I get a tracking number that UPS (?) will tell me that delivery will be swifter.

Please, no more three day waits on the ground somewhere else!!!

@Smartie Merging adds easily 2-5 days to delivery. I don't suggest buying anything from the Apple Store that needs merging, that you can't buy locally.

Just got the lovely update email... with no update.

Your order has left Apple and you will have received a Dispatch Notification email advising you of the expected delivery date.

Please note your items are shipping from different locations and will be merged, for your convenience, so that you will receive one single delivery.

As a result, please allow up to 4 business days for your Order Status to be updated online. You can view this information at any time by clicking here.

Kind regards,
Apple Online Store

So, confirmation it does takes longer to deliver a package from London to Manchester than it does from China to London. We need Tim Cook back focusing on Ops and the supply chain!

For those with customs issues, mine appeared to clear within 12 hours.... still hoping given Apple were expecting delivery to them on Thursday that I might get it end of this week instead of Monday.

Yep, I've learnt that the hard way this time around. I'm merging the CTO MBA with a 2tb time capsule. Could've bought the TC at the local store.

Well I definitely won't be merging anything in the future. Ill just buy it all separate. But none the less, the merging was out of my control this time due to the £70 gift card. Confusing to why it wasn't just applied to my account or sent via email.

Anyway, my order status on exp.o has changed to: 'Ready for Delivery.' I'd like to think that the Air is now being taken over by a delivery courier such as UKMail, but I have a feeling it's just heading to Apple for merging...

It will say ready for delivery until the time is reached for merging. Merging will happen at the "requested delivery date" which most likely is specified for you on the event tab.

Do you have any evidence/reasoning to back this up? My "requested delivery date" was 30 mins ago, but the exp.o site is still showing "Ready for Delivery" as it has done for ~30 hours (the implication seems to be it is still sat at Heathrow).
