Hmm... Me too. Bit of a non-event really. Just reiterates what previous one said. No real tracking info. Still saying up to 4 days. Not good enough Apple.

Yeah, I was getting all excited because I thought it would be the tracking info but it wasn't. Damn it... :(

The invoice? Or have you received real tracking information from a courier?

Nope, all it said was this:

"Your order has left Apple and you will have received a Dispatch Notification email advising you of the expected delivery date.

Please note your items are shipping from different locations and will be merged, for your convenience, so that you will receive one single delivery.

As a result, please allow up to 4 business days for your Order Status to be updated online. You can view this information at any time by clicking here.

Kind regards,
Apple Online Store"

Pointless really.

Its a pretty poor system really, unless it arrives tomorrow I'm going to be ringing to complain. When your buying a premium product, I expect premium delivery.

My CTO 13" / 8 / 128 is due to land in London in 30 minutes from Shanghai on Virgin flight 251.

Ordered on 12th June with initial expected delivery of 20-22nd that slipped to 25th once shipped. I ordered via HE store and get the £70 card so am anticipating a merge, delay.

That said, the expo.expeditors site shows Apple request delivery for 21st @ 1400 but timeline says delivery will be made on 19th @ 1800. So... small chance it might arrive this week if there's almost 2 days gained.

Maybe Apple are overstating dates so they can deliver quicker and please customers. Still, there's a notification at least 48 hours prior to delivery to await which means it's Thursday at the ultra-earliest. Plus, no doubt customs will have an effect.

In summary, who knows :D

my 2 airs are stuck in koln too. arrived at 17:18 on the 16th. 27 and a half hours later its still there with no updates :(
i ordered them on the 12th >:\

Well I ordered mine nearly 3 days ago now, It'll be three days exactly in about 4 hours and it's still procesing.. I ordered with a wireless mouse and keyboard and it comes with the gift card, I'm guessing the multi-order is increasing the time?

The delivery date from exp.o site is correct but it's the delivery date from importer in Europe to Apple merging facility. So, probably you're getting your tracking number the 21st @ 1400 and maybe you're getting you computer by 23rd or 25th... that's :apple:

it does look like everyone who is waiting is waiting because they ordered more than 1 thing.....
Baah when I ordered I thought "I can wait, no problem". Then just 2 days later I am impatient... It does seem odd that it takes a company like Apple 3 days minimum to put a laptop, keyboard and mouse in a box to ship, but hey ho.

Crossing my fingers that we get tracking info tomorrow....come on Apple!!! :(

yeah, its very misleading with the '1-3 days delivery' that shows when you buy it, when it really means 3 days making your order then 5 days for delivery. itd be fine if they just said 'delivered in 8 days'

yep - i thought it would be here within a week of ordering but as it stands I'm not going to have my mac for my trip away :(

Mine is going to be 10-12 days judging by the predicted date from order to delivery. It's not too bad but for a company like Apple, spending £1000+ I would expect a little better.

I it takes longer than the 1-3 days, would a phone call complaint get a freebie? I don't really mind much, but could be worth a go.

I'm a bit ticked off, honestly. When I ordered mine the page quoted me 1-3 days to ship (fair enough, didn't take longer) and 4 days to deliver. Then, when it shipped, my delivery date was suddenly 27.6. Rang them up and got a whole bunch of canned "well they take a while to get shipped because there's so many of them" / "we released a new Macbook last week and are upgrading your order to one of them but it'll be a while" excuses which had no relevance to my case.

It's not the 27.6. that bothers me so much, but the fact that Apple have no idea why it suddenly takes nearly three times as long as it should. I expected better from their customer service.

Your mileage may vary. I rang them up today and the best the guy could do was say "we are sorry". Apparently some people have managed to talk iTunes gift cards out of the deal though so no harm in trying.

the status just got updated to 'import scan' - 30 hours after first arriving in koln. looks like i wont get it tomorrow. hopefuly wednesday. unless they can ship it out tonight .....

Koeln, Germany 17.06.2012 17:18 Arrival Scan

what are they doing? they could have delivered today, and with my luck they will deliver tomorrow right when I am not at home

<sarcasm> they were probably checking the container for explosives for 30 hours, cos, like, the best way to take out a passenger plane is to put something nasty on a cargo flight </sarcasm>

Mines been there for a day too.......:mad::mad:

Just checked tracking on the apple link, now says

"In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule"

Good sign?!!

I'd say so :D.

I'd have to agree I'm a bit disappointed with the overall delivery times. Fair enough 5 days from China to London, but another 7 days from London to Manchester? Does seem a bit sluggish on the local side.
