UK/Europe order/delivery thread MBA 2012

I'm following this thread as I will have to order mine given like (almost) everyone else I want 8gb RAM.

Do these delivery times start to come down once the initial rush is over? I'm surprised at how long it's taking!

Still no real shipping from info, but I guess the final mile courier will collect the parcel from Apple today.
 
I am getting my MBA 13/128/8 today:

Considering it arrived in Germany TWO AND A HALF DAYS AGO I think there's room for improvement here.

I ordered on the 13th, the MBA shipped out of China on the 16th just after midnight local time. Apple had originally estiimated "21st - 25th" as the delivery date iirc.
 
Finally out for delivery... Apple is definitely giving Europeans a second class service by using cheaper delivery than the usa.

Mine, in exp.o site is Delivered but in Apple site is still Merge In Tnst NL Til :(
Maybe I'm not getting it before the weekend... :mad:
 
Apple website now says "out for delivery" but still no courier name or tracking number. This is the final straw, I'm going to make a formal complaint to Apple!

Mine is out for delivery now, ordered on the 13th, so that is just under 7 days from order to delivery, I honestly dont think that is that bad, it is custom built(ish) and has come from china.....

It's quite frustrating, having ordered straight after the keynote, to not even have a carrier name. Apple's statement was preparing to hand over to final carrier and is now In transit to customer, but no tracking details. I have no idea if it went out with the batch of uk UPS deliveries yesterday to receive today... How did people get their ups numbers? Via email or apple tracking?

No such luck for me. The exp.o site lists a handoff to Apple yesterday but no tracking info or updates from Apple. Their site still lists the 27th as my delivery date, which, if accurate, is unacceptable. They have it in Holland, it can't take seven days to get to Finland even if they walk it here.

Same here!! I'm in Lancaster, where are you?

I have an ongoing discussion with Apple about my invoice and the rep is SUPPOSED to ring me back later so I will raise the delivery info (OR LACK OF IT!) with her.:mad:

I ordered first thing the day after the keynote, but other than that I'm in the same situation. I found it a bit odd for the status to change back to a previous state, especially given that the status is all the information that apple have provided so far.
 
I know it's frustrating guys, but we'll definitely get our tracking info sometime during today. Because if we don't, then it's then Apple's fault by saying that we'd get it 48 hours before the estimate delivery date.

Mine has just been delivered in St'ALbans, typically I cant get to it till 4:30 PM..... I ordered it on the 13th.... MBA 11" i5/8gb/256

Not gonna get much sleep this evening... :D

I'll keep an eye out here but I think I'll just expect it tomorrow. Seems more realistic!

Delivered to my Brother-in-Law's office, not home address. I had estimated delivery by END of the day today, so on schedule as far as im concerned.

I ordered my 13" Air (Base spec with 8GB RAM) on 13th June.

Shipment status changed to "Shipped" on the 16th June. The "Track Shipment" button takes me to another page with no tracking info at all. Just says that the estimated delivery date is 25th June and that it is 'In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule'. I've checked back every day and it hasn't changed with no more info.

How are you all tracking your orders? I can't seem to find any other links or info as to how to see where the package is.

At last some news for some of the 8GB orders!

At first I thought it was just me having done the HE/free gift card but if others ordered after the keynote and are still waiting, then it's a bit of a poor show, especially in comparison to US customers.
 
mine is 'on vehicle for delivery' now :D
dont think im going to get much work done today, this is like waiting for santa to arrive!!!
