Having called Three again I have just been told that my delivery date is indeed tomorrow. Why is it so difficult for this company to keep its customers informed? I will not get confirmation of this delivery until after 7pm tonight. This would have been far too late to re-arrange plans had the delivery not been tomorrow and I had not called them to make sure. The customer service does leave a lot to be desired, the person I spoke to sounded like I was interrupting her from doing something she'd far rather be doing (like filing her nails!)

ha... Thanks for the update. My current mood is "rage mixed with excitement". Could tomorrow really be the day? :p

Going to be sat at my door making sure that I don't miss the delivery. Last time I did that it got to about 3pm and I rang the courier to ask where my delivery was, they said they tried to delivery at 10am but no one answered. I was sat watching tv by my front window from 8am the lying sods :(
 
"Rage mixed with excitement" is kind of how I am feeling too. If I'm let down tomorrow then the nail-filing representatives of Three's customer "service" had better steel themselves tomorrow for an extremely angry phone call!

Yeah, let's hope we get an email from 7pm onwards saying our iPad is on it's way! If I don't get an email before tomorrow then I'll be biting my nails all day tomorrow. Don't want to get too excited as, well, we've already been let down once.

A lot of places did receive stock last friday so I'm feeling a bit more positive.
 
I really hope you guys get your iPads tomorrow. Means I have a good chance of getting mine on Wednesday.

If not then I fear a few CEO complaints getting written :mad:

If we get ours tomorrow I don't see why you shouldn't get yours? Unless they expect Wednesday as you're in Scotland?
 
I am now not getting mine tomorrow, having just received an email saying there is a 'slight delay' again. This is after having been PROMISED by the representative earlier that it was going to be delivered tomorrow. I am infuriated by this, it is an absolute disgrace to treat customers this way.

I immediately called the customer services department whose only answer was that I could cancel the order if i wasn't happy. What sort of answer is that?

Do not deal with this company if you get the chance, they treat people with no respect whatsoever.
 
Got the same email too. ****ing joke.

I'm really fed up with being lied to. I don't think they have any idea when stock is coming in but they don't want everyone to cancel their orders so are postponing delivery dates day-by-day until the stock comes in.

I really don't know what to do, don't want to cancel the online order as by the time I get the money back they may have sent it out. I'm not being impatient it's just that we're told no later than Tuesday then that not being true.

Exactly. I was promised just three hours ago that it was coming tomorrow. I don't particularly mind a wait (even though I am impatient!) but I really hate being promised one thing and then told that promise cannot be honoured merely a few hours later. It's no way to treat customers. If you have no idea when stock is coming in, just tell your customers that rather than stringing them along and lying to them.

I'm not one to ask for free things but are we due any compensation? I've got emails stating tuesday delivery at the latest :/ plus the blog comments. I asked for confirmation of my delivery date on the blog this morning and my comment wasn't approved or moderated all day.
 
Checked the blog and a woman called johanna has said they're expecting a warehouse delivery tomorrow. Also said people who were given the 8th as an original date can expect their iPad tomorrow. So that's me right? Obviously not..

Yeah, I got a rude CS rep too. Johanna just seems clueless, after me saying I got an email saying it's delayed she said people can still expect it tomorrow. Sigh.
 
I think they forget who the customer is.

The person I spoke to just kept repeating "What do you want me to do about it?" To which my reply was "Stop lying to your customers". It didn't seem to even register with him so that gives you an idea of the way their customer services department is trained to deal with customers.
 
Well there is a surprise! I just knew that would happen.

After being told by two different people I would get delivery on Wednesday I am starting to doubt what they said!

This is really starting to hack me off. I am currently paying for a mobile broadband service that I can't use! I am sure they should be compensating us for these delays and lies.

Yeah I'm sure you could be compensatied as you're an existing customer, in my case, I haven't paid for shipment and only paid for the iPad itself. I can only argue against what they've told me and the agree'd date of delivery that I chose. Other than that there's not much more I can argue.

I chose to go into work today even though i had booked it off, it means I'll be able to just not work whenever it does arrive, lol. I've got that feeling of expecting a text from home saying "there's something been delivered for you" :(

Anyone else at all feeling hopeful of a delivery to us today or tomorrow?

I just checked and the Three website is taking orders again for the 16GB and 32GB models so they must be getting stock as they wouldn't put them back on the site if they weren't getting stock....would they??

So they are taking orders but still not delivering to those customers who have orders outstanding still.

Let's hope so! Last night Johanna said they're "expecting" a delivery today so we should still get ours. I don't understand that as how can I receive mine the same day as the warehouse gets a delivery? :confused:

She also said that those who had the original date of 8th can expect to receive it today, even though I had already told her I got an email saying it was slightly delayed.

Never going to order expensive items from a site which doesn't have live tracking of the order ever again, thats for sure.
 
just so you know, the customer service reps are now on the blog answering questions. I've asked kaz to check my order status again as I can't myself. If any of you have any questions now would be the time to ask them I think! Gives them all day to reply.
 
Yep. And I've asked them to please be honest about delivery expectations instead of plucking a day out of the air with no idea about whether they can fulfil that promise.
 
Kaz has replied on the blog saying he's chasing up my order again and will get back to me as soon as he gets the info. Fingers crossed for news about them receiving stock and sending them out.
