[UK] iPad 2 "Three" Orders

i haven't had one either so not going to believe it until i see it.
if it is DPD then they've usually delivered around here by 11am though so still about an hour to go lol

I can't do that!!! Take away my moment of excitement?! I didnt receive any texts/emails or any kind of contact. I am sure it was Royal Mail who delivered so will check.
for anyone still waiting... mines arrived by special delivery.

Hope it wasn't the postman. Mine has just been without ringing the doorbell!
We usually have the parcel van stop at the end of the road and then the postman with the letters gets out and starts walking round whilst the driver organises any deliveries for our road.

At least the Royal Mail will take undelivered packages to the local sorting office too, rather than some depot in the middle of nowhere.

yep, he had it in his bag which surprised me, good job it was plain packaged. lol
Well I just got a call off the foreign call centre from the wee guy that said he would call me back when he got some info on my iPad shipment......
He told me DPD would deliver TODAY between 3-4!

Hell yeah! I hope you do get it today man! I got a good half hour with it at lunch, it's already in the prying hands of my other half until I get back home at 4
I ordered an iPad 2 16GB in Black from Three and it took less than a week to arrive. However, in between ordering it and buying it, I noticed there were older models going for 75 quid with a £20 a month deal for the same data.
Given that me and the gf only use it for web surfing, emails, spotify and the occasional bit of PDF jibber jabber. I thought this constituted a better deal.
That said, I can stick it on Gumtree or eBay if I really feel the need to upgrade when the next one comes along, that and I've saved £140 quid on data alone by taking the older model. 'Twas a nae brainer for me, but I know some folk like to have the new ones.

Well got it set up and restored the back up from my old iPad. It's easy to see the speed improvements. A few games and apps load a lot faster and a few have already had iPad 2 updates to make use of the extra CPU and GPU power, like Asphalt 6 and Infinity Blade.
