haha soon as i reserved with argos and than currys to get the itab discount, tesco's went live so i have 2 reserved now that i don't need 
need to cancel these hate to stop someone else missing out

I just ordered my 32GB Space Grey WiFi for click and collect with the £30 off voucher for a total price of £449. Got the confirmation email but no definite collection date/time yet. My pickup store is a Tesco Metro in the centre of a main shopping street so I think they mostly restock it in the middle of the night so hopefully my iPad will be there for opening time tomorrow morning.
Got through and was told by some bloke that everything looked ok with the order and would be told otherwise. Didn't sound like he knew what he was talking about so I'm guessing it will be cancelled.
Shambolic service. I'm off to Argos soon.
Apparently they've been briefed that it won't be honoured - they've also not accepted any funds which the bank sent for it, so it's down to your bank to get them back to you.
Just going to wait it out. Don't have loads of money to be buying two or three so if I don't get my refund today, I guess I'll have to wait.
Well, that was painless. Arrived about 08:15 and queued for 45 mins at Churchill Square, Brighton. Got my first choice of colour and capacity.
No more 128 GB models announced just before I left around 9-ish and about 40 people in the queue.

Just opened up my new 64Gb Silver Wifi Air. It's gorgeous! Went to John Lewis in Cheadle at 7am and was 4th in the queue. All 4 of us girls at the front. They opened at 8am and gave us tickets. A slight delay at the tills as they wouldn't process the bar codes to start with, but the staff were wonderful and came round with tea and coffee and kept us updated.
Also snagged a Speck Style Folio that was on offer for half price (£17.47) when purchased with an iPad Air.

Can people stop banging on about currys rejecting their order or whatever.
It was a clear pricing error. Errors happen. You weren't lucky this time, so get over it. They hold your funds, but won't take then if the order is cancelled.

Agreed. We're getting one either way. Would just be nice to save a few hundred quid along the way
Got mine this morning from Apple Store Belfast (32GB, wifi, Space Grey)
Loads of stock and not too busy. If you have a choice between an Apple Store or Curry's/Argos etc definitely go to the Apple Store. They will have stock and they will stand by the EU Consumer Law more so than the other places.

Thanks to the heads up on here, I've just ordered a 32Gb Wifi Space Grey from Tescos, for collection in store tomorrow.
Paid £449, using the £30 code, plus there's another £13 Quidco cashback to come and I've just about got another £5 Clubcard voucher with 449 points. Happy with £431 on launch day - £48 off!
I will keep my Argos reservation until I've opened the box and inspected it, given the damaged one mentioned a few posts ago!

Just got back from John Lewis Cheadle at 10am. They have piles of the things in stock and I was there for about 20 minutes and not a single other person purchased an iPad.
Certainly not like the iPhone launch. Maybe people are getting bored!
