You've got your iPad, we'll eventually get ours, no need to keep moaning about other people moaning.
i went to the PC world on Tottenham court road at 8:30 on the way into work. no queue and I picked up a 32gb wifi only model with the brown leather case. they also give a £30 voucher after the purchase, so that helps a bit.
coming from a mini (after owning all ipads so far), it does feel a tad heavy compared to what I am used to. however, it is clearly lighter than the older iPads.

They seem fairly expert in doing that even without our help.
It's the handling of this that's poor more than anything - should have just issued a straight-to-the-point statement admitting they messed up and couldn't honour the price.

Tesco are doing next day delivery near me - just ordered a Space Grey 32GB for £45 off.
Picked up my 32GB White iPad Air from Argos and now just been into Apple store Bluewater and got the product red Smart Case! They have loads of Air smart covers and smart cases in stock.
Got mine from Argos, I had to mention the £20 voucher as wasn't automatic but she added it on for me no problem, then used the £20 to get something else I needed so happy days.
After the damage report above have looked it over but can't see any defects, restoring from old iPad backup now.
Am changing from a 3 so does seem quite a bit lighter, just wish I had a case! Want to get another Kavaj case but is weeks to wait, I find them very light and good quality so will try and hang on.

Really struggling to get a Smart Cover from any retailer..
I've tried Argos/PC World, mobile phone stores, KRCS (Apple reseller), John Lewis..
Nobody has any Apple smart covers!!!
Apple stores are too far from me so not travelling..
Anyone else had luck on smart covers outside of Apple stores?

Agreed and that's what I'm most narked about.
Anyway, got my 32Gb wifi in silver from Argos along with £20 of vouchers. Just setting up.
Worth checking in store before hand, I was that much in a rush to get over to Costa for a coffee I forgot to check it out lol. Anyway all good now and no hassle swapping it over. Up and running and must say it's very nice indeed.
Got my space grey 64gb with celluar from apple store in aberdeen. Popped up about half 8 and got in and out within half an hour. Also picked you up a red smart cover, will get a cover for the back at some point. Its so light compared to ipad 2 and holding it with one hand is absolutely no problem for me Happy days!

Stock levels for all model specs were good at the Bath Store and everyone got what they wanted. There were only about 60 people in the queue though
Got my iPad Air 32GB Space Grey from Tesco in north of Scotland. They had plenty of both colours in stock for 16 and 32GB.
I'm upgrading from the iPad 3 and I am very happy with the new iPad. Just restoring from iCloud backup now. It's so thin and light. The differences between the Air and 3 are unbelievable. The weight is the biggest factor.

Go with the Tesco deal. I read that these PC World vouchers have a minimum spend. The £50 voucher has a minimum spend of £500....

Are the DSG execs just having a laff now? From now on I'm just not going to bother with anyone bar Tesco or John Lewis for big tech purchases.
Same where I am, might try again later on today and see if they've had any deliveries
And in SE London. I'm not too worried, as unlikely to have to leave the house with it for a couple of days, but would be nice to have something on it, for sure!
