I know they ran out fairly early on Friday morning. I don't know whether they've had a delivery since then.
It seems those who got a dispatch notice on Friday saying they had shipped via TNT.. will have to wait. Called TNT who say they have nothing to track and nothing booked for the rest of the week to be delivered to my postcode. Apple say that although we got shipping notices that just means that it has been loaded on a pallet and not handed over to TNT yet. This should happen today. TNT are pants UPS are so efficient in my experience, in the past I have ordered things on a Sunday morning and got them on a Monday - an in-store pick up option would have resolved this..
You would not have to be in two minds if you got 2, kept one air sold the 2nd one off meaning you would have the mini paid for plus some cash left over depending on which size you got.
My iPad ordered from the Apple on-line store, arrived 11am today via UPS. Full tracking and two texts from Apple - one to let me know it was out for delivery and the other after delivery to hope I enjoy it!

Thought I should just call back in: after being somewhat messed around by ASDA, I managed to pick up my iPad yesterday afternoon. If they hadn't promised a Friday delivery, I would've been happy with the speed and ease of ordering; as is, I had to call customer support an uncomfortable number of times to get things moving along.

It's getting near Xmas mate deliveries will naturally become later as couriers will be working their buts off.
As Santa is a fictional character someone's has to deliver

Just placed an order for an iPad Air 16gb Space Grey from Very. Got £20 off my order too which is always good!
I can't wait to get my hands on it! Very excited - first iPad since my mini I bought last year but got rid of as found it a little too small for my personal needs.
They said it will arrive tomorrow but the website said you had to order before 2pm for next day - and I only just placed my order now so who knows?!

Mine arrived today. I'm still waiting for my Smart Cover to be delivered which is due on Thursday for my screen protector and TPU back cover from Amazon. I'm not gong to use it until I get the screen protector on it as well as the Smart Cover and TPU back cover.
Does anyone wanna give some impressions on the device itself?! These UK threads always turn into shipping threads which can get a bit boring to read (not being disrespectful!)

Absolutely lovely bit of kit, it blows my iPad 4 out of the water performance wise, and it's amazing just how different it is in the comfort category. I couldn't hold the iPad 4 for any length of time without getting sore palms, I can hold the Air for hours and read an ebook just like I do on a Nexus 7. It's not just the weight, but the redesigned shape and lack of sharp edges.

My mum has a mini which she loves, and my sister an iPad 3. I remember having just used my mum's mini to check something a while back, I picked my sisters iPad 3 up and couldn't believe how heavy and bulky it felt.
The iPad Air looks like it just gets rid of everything that was bad about the ones before it and makes it a much more comfortable experience. I'm excited about that big retina screen and being able to read magazines I subscribe to on it through Newsstand! Not to mention the video watching!

No, it's comfortable enough to handhold without a case, I've ordered a slim folio case for when traveling, but it really is immeasurably more comfortable to hold than the old design.
When reading, I often find it's actually comfortable enough to hold one handed.
