I cannot begin to tell you how much hard work it is returning (or in my case trying to return) an iPad to Apple via TNT. I put my return request in last Tuesday - TNT didn't call me for over a week (and only did so after I phoned Apple twice) to arrange pick up, which was supposed to be this afternoon, and they haven't turned up. Phoned TNT - they can do naf all as it has to be the Apple department that deal with it, who are only open 9-5. Soooo 9 days later, it's still sat on my dinner table and not looking like going anywhere any time soon.

Ugh, that sounds terrible. Pretty glad I had it shipped to my parents' address now - my Dad's retired so he can wait around for someone to come and pick it up! :D

I naively thought that I could just take it back to the store when it arrived; I won't be making that mistake again.

Mine's also being picked up from my parents, where there's someone in all day. It's trying to get them to come and get it however is hard work! At least Apple have said my last return date of the 19th has been waived. I really really wish they did store returns, I'm going tomorrow to pick up a case for my mini .

Not sure if anyone's already asked this but is it possible to just walk into Curry's and pick up a wifi 32gb retina mini? Or failing that anywhere in central London?

From what I can gather you fill in a form online and arrange a pick up date. Then they come and collect. Seems a waste of money having to deliver and pick up when surely they can stop it now?

Either
a) Refuse delivery OR
b) ask Apple support to send a note to the courier requesting return to sender (i.e. do not attempt delivery).

I tried that in Curry's(Moorgate) earlier and the bloke said they aren't aloud to sell them yet!

Just wondering when the first orders for retina mini are supposed to be coming through?
I'm hoping that maybe my order of today (had an Air for two days but it just wasn't as nice to handle and my mini!) might get dispatched earlier than the 5-10 business days stated.
Thanks :)

Mine's just landed in Germany

Same here. Still says delivery....today (Friday). How will it get from Germany, to the UK UPS main depot, sorted, to the local depot and out for delivery?

UPS delivery here in Bath tends to be early in the morning, too.

I'm off to bed. I'll be astonished if I wake up and find it's out for delivery!

I'm off on holiday on Saturday, so I'm just going to wait until my apple delivery comes through the week after next.

Beats refreshing the site every five minutes, there really seems to be a shortage of LTE.

Only an hour or so flight from Germany. I know what you mean though!

Bah, my 128gb LTE Mini is still processing. They've took my money for AppleCare+ though , but not the iPad itself.

All those that have shipped, are they LTE's?

Spotted my first cellular available to reserve earlier. 32gb Space Grey at Manc Trafford Centre. It'd vanished by 0603 unsurprisingly.

Arrival Scan at Castle Donnington GB now, exciting stuff! Still find it absolutely crazy how fast and far these things can travel, what an age we live in! xD

Definitely. Mine still isn't at my local depot (as at 7.20am) though (left Donnington at 4am). Sounds like it will be touch and go whether it will be here today.

Is anybody checking the Trafford Centre Apple store, in Manchester, website for availability? Is there lots of stock at 6.00pm - when the site opens?

I keep forgetting to set the alarm for that time, but I'm curious if all the stock disappears before I get up :)

Awesome my order from Apple and Currys are out for delivery! :) Yippee!

Anyone in the Northwest: Wirral, Liverpool, Chester, want a 32GB Mini with Retina, 32GB, Black, Wi-Fi for retail price. £399.

Save me the hassle of a return, you can have it sealed with all reciepts. :)

Scrap what I just said above. A refresh on the UPS tracker:

Bristol, United Kingdom 15/11/2013 7:17 Out for Delivery

Along with you guys mine left Donnington at 4am but as of 7:20 its out for delivery! Woo! My local UPS depot is Eastleigh though which isn't too far away from Donnington. China to Eastleigh in two days? Impressive stuff UPS...

The stock doesn't come in until 9am-11am, I'm told.

According to the store checker though, Trafford Centre only has the 16GB Space Grey one in stock. See https://ireserve.apple.com/GB/en_GB/reserve/iPad/productReservation

LOL, true. Now I'm wondering whether to get to the office, earlier than normal, as UPS tends to deliver to us early and first, around 9am. Simply crazy to think I went to bed at midnight and it had only arrived in Germany and before work the next morning, it's already out for delivery!
