Ordered my rMini 32GB LTE silver yesterday at 20.00. Still shows Processing items with expected delivery between 28-05.

Ordered from John Lewis late Wednesday evening. Just had an email to say my iPad mini is waiting for collection at my local Waitrose. Time to cancel the Apple order!

Same here. Mine arrived about an hour ago.

I wouldn't say my screen has any issues at all. Not that much different from the iPad Air.

The only minor negative observation is that it's noticeably heavier than my iPad Mini v1. Not larger, just heavier. Feels more solid.

Got my cellular mini yesterday (from store reservation) and my it definitely feels dense/heavy for the size and actually makes my Air feel light for its size.

Love the form factor, but having had the Air for nearly two weeks I have started to get used to the extra real estate and larger fonts making the mini a little less loved. Strange as had the mini 1 for a year and loved it - guess you get used to the changes pretty quickly.

Need to make my mind up quickly as tomorrow is the last day I can return the Air.

I totally agree. I noticed exactly the same thing with the LTE mini I had. I returned it the next day and got another Air.

However I decided to give the mini another chance and picked up a wifi only model yesterday. (I would have often an LTE model and I will swap it as soon as there is store stock) but I'm going to use them both side by side and see overall which iI prefer.

I agree that the Air feels like there is less of it in the hand due to the larger size as it's less dense. And I agree that the extra screen size is no longer a burden on the full size iPad because it's thinner and lighter so it's easier to use.

I also think that the higher resolution causes me to look more carefully at the display weirdly so all the text does look smaller. Side by side it's also noticeable that the Air has better colour but that doesn't bother me as I won't have two permanently so won't have anything to compare it too!

Other thread suggests online AND offline apparently, contrary to what it actually says on the receipt. At least according to an Apple employee. Can't remember if I read it on here or Reddit, and it may not be accurate.

Some from the US have quoted that. Not sure about over here.

Yep same here, can't have been that many online orders for the retina mini for them to progress through UPS this quickly.

Delivered at 11am. Very impressive shipping times. Delivery window was originally 19-21st November. (I know Apple like to overstate the delivery date to cover themselves but still, delivered exactly 3 days from the order time is pretty good!)

Am I right in thinking that the apple store reserve service has some kind of stock refresh at 3pm every day (about now?) or is it just at 6:30? Didn't seem to add any stock at 6 this morning.

Either way it seems to grey out between 2 and 3 with no possibility of reserving anything

I noticed this a few days ago. Never seen anything get updated during this time tho. Keep hoping....

It's perfect

Mine has arrived and is all set up 32gb WIFI up grading from a iPad 2 love it. Not too small very light bright clear smooth quick lush cool and on and on. They sure know how to make great stuff those nerds at Apple :):):)

Sadly, my Air is going back due to uneven screen colour - pretty obvious yellow 1/3 left of the screen in portrait, especially at the home button end. I saw it straight away when I turned it on, tried to ignore it but couldn't in the end. Will wait and re-buy in a month or two if they sort it out... To give Apple their due the return process is easy though!

Just picked mine (64GB, space grey, wifi only) up from John Lewis. They wouldn't price match the Curry's deal unfortunately as they said they don't price match cash back offers.

My mini got delivered with 2 dents on the back today. What a let down.
Thankfully phone support was nice and a new one is already ordered with pickup for the dented one scheduled for sometime next week.

Did you walk in and pick it up? Or reserve with JL online? Which JL?

64GB Wifi is exactly what I want :)

I don't understand what the problem is with 64 GB iPad retina mini models. How come 16 and 32 gig LTE models are available 64 Gig isn't.

Are they out of 64 Gig storage ?

Finally got my Retina Mini from John Lewis today. I'm really impressed with it, coming from my iPad 2 it's a huge leap forward. Can't see any screen problems yet seems, perfect. Decided on JL as they give 3 year warranty and price matched Tesco so got it for £396.

How did you get them to price match a Tesco - they're out of stock still aren't they?
