I've had that the last couple of time. The backup/restore is so perfect that after an hour, it looks like your old device and you're just a grand poorer. Almost miss the 1990s
I'm tempted to set it up as a new device this time. Been restoring from backups for years...
will be starting afresh. good way to purge the sins of downloading all manner of apps I never use

I actually ordered from Very and it got cancelled! Mine was a silver 128gb pro model - I think silver has been in low supply from what I’ve seen! The only good thing as that they cancelled it within just a few hours of ordering.
I’m defo setting up as new, don’t want this battery drain to copy across

What does your status show on your order?
ditto though saying that, I've had issues over the years with my keychain not syncing. Seem to have to restore a few times for it to finally pull down. also the fun of spending hours with Apple support trying to figure it out. I couldn't turn off the toggle in iCloud settings for keychain.. just remained on! had to go round and sign out of every iCloud account of each device and a whole manner of pain.
looks like its still playing up as it took 3 restores to get it working on the SE
My Birthday is on Saturday so really hoping these Amazon £849 phones do arrive for us because that will be the best birthday present from me to me haha
The only thing with setting up from new I have is my Google authenticator app that I use for work and 101 other things. There is no way to backup and restore the config.

Yes, I’ve got an order for a 256gb Pro, apparently getting delivered on Saturday.
I'll google it again, but I know in the past I have had to go into each company that I use it for and re-do.
My Amazon order at check out said Monday until I changed the delivery to premium before checking out and even the premium was for the Saturday didn’t even get an option for the Friday release delivery with Amazon
