If you pay the £150 for two years after that you are automatically put onto monthly. So you don’t need to take our monthly just because you want it to continue after the 24months

The AppleCare on my Xr just ran out and I wasn't offered monthly for that. It just isn't covered now.

I bet the Apple Store in Cardiff was busy yesterday. The day the iPhone 12 launches and then from 6pm its forced to close for 2 weeks under lockdown measures. Any people from Wales who had to get their pick up before the closure?

So I have an offer for my iPhone 11 Pro Max that will leave with me £160 in my pocket after paying off the existing upgrade programme.

Problem is I will be waiting for at least 3 weeks to get the 12 max and will have to revert back to an iPhone 7 until then. I’m in 2 minds whether to sell or just hand the phone back in when i upgrade..

I always laugh at the offer under the one you took a pic of! .. who on earth, in this day and age, find 250MB of data enough to do anything at all!!!
See my 4G data usage since I’m working from home...

Your not helping my colour decision process on the Pro Max, that Gold colour looks absolutely stunning! I think I prefer it to the Pacific Blue but really cannot decide!

Apple have does a first class job with colours this year. Superb.

haha sorry about that! There was no doubt for me this year. The gold was easily the best to my eyes 👀

Sweet! A lot of it is luck and who you speak to on the day. I got the 20% applied on a Friday and on Sunday morning someone on here mentioned the loyalty discount so I went back on chat and managed to get a further £5 off applied to the contract. I have mentioned it a few times on here, prior to the iPhone 12 being announced ee were also giving out Beats X earphones as part of their plans. As soon as the iPhone 12s were revealed they pulled the deal. I asked on chat for them to throw them in and they agreed. Not many have been so lucky since then.

I did take a screenshot of the offer below but in the end, it wasn't needed. Like others have said ee are getting hammered with people calling up to upgrade so it's a seller's market for them. The next best deals will likely be Black Friday.

I can personally vouch for the “luck” part when speaking to EE chat, it really does depend on who you talk to on the day.

That deal is overpriced on its own.
If you want another cheap EE sim you can always gift data to that plan each month....
It’s just when I see deals like that, it makes me think about my parents.
Both are with sky at 2gb for £6, which is a lot cheaper and with 8 times the data.
Although I can totally see your point on that train of thought, I forgot EE let you handover your data allowance like that.

Hehehe .. yes! .. it was hard to persuade the EE person when I was renewing that I wanted unlimited data after the last months of usage! He said ‘yes but you only use about 1GB a month’ and I just reminded him there’s a global pandemic!!

They always try you always need to be prepare to counter the questions they throw at you.. I always make up excuses like my home broadband keeps going down or started a new job working outdoors....

I might try live chat and bargain that 250mb deal down to under five pounds for my tablet.....

Anyone know why my iPhone 12 storage is showing just a grey bar instead of the usual colour coded bar for each type of storage? All the data I should have on my iPhone is there

All this talk of the competing merits of Apple’s finance deals has now got me thinking about a change in plan. I received the IUP settlement sum of £471.60 by email on Monday. My monthly payment has been taken since then, taking it down to (I assume) ~£412. Apple are offering £500 trade in, so presumably it‘s better for me to settle and initiate a trade in before I start a new loan? Otherwise, I’m losing out due to the timing of my payments?

Can I also claim back unused AppleCare? I had previously assumed that was spread across the monthly payments, but is that not the case? Is it paid up front on the IUP loan?

Apple Card out in the UK?

It’s not - I wish it was though.

I used to live in the USA so I had the card from back then. I can’t change my Apple ID region as I’m still tied to a subscription so the card is still in my wallet.

Nope, not sure what they mean, unless they are American visiting UK?

I’ve been with Three for nearly a decade and have always been on an unlimited contract. Over time it had slowly risen to £20/month, but last month they decided the contract was too old and the default was to move me onto their £23/month unlimited.
I started by getting them to switch me to £18/month for unlimited which I was happy enough with until I found that’s actually readily available. Feeling like my loyalty hadn’t ment much I looked around and saw the EE 100gb for £16 with the student discount.
Looking at my usage over the last 2 years I’d never actually been over 25gb max in any given month and since March there have been months where I’ve barely reached 2gb.
I phoned Three back to cancel (as still within the cooling off period) and they ended up offering me 30gb for £10/month/12months (still with 5g, hotspot etc).
Not having unlimited will feel weird, but without an end to working from home in sight and as 30gb will still have been enough for me at any point in the past 2 years, £10/month feels like a decent saving.
Moral of the story.... I wish I had started this haggling/threatening to leave lark years ago!

I'm in my first 14days, I wonder if I should upgrade my EE plan
You can change your plan within your 14 days cooling period I done mine twice settled with 100gb 5G for 11 pounds a month 24 months...

The chap on live chat did get a bit fed up saying are you happy now lol
