How long have you been with EE? I’ve taken the 200GB plus Apple Music deal £20 per month with BLC discount I think it’s a good deal and I’m happy with it but if somehow I can get extra £ off I will? I’m assuming you can’t add a loyalty discount been a new customer.
Just over 3 years I think

why the silicone case of Apple is a dust magnet? Will it go away with usage? It is frustrating and I am looking to pick a leather one if this continues.... Hopefully this is not related to magsafe ring?

By nature of design, silicone will always collect dust/lint. In my experience they are one of the best cases to hold in terms of grip and feel - your very unlikely to drop the iPhone by accident whilst in a silicone case. However, whilst the silicone will fade on the edges, go more shiny and less silicone-like with age, they will still have a tendency to pick up dust/lint - more so if you put the phone in your pocket.

Only way to avoid this is having a completely dust free environment which is a tricky one. I find a quick wipe down with a lightly wet microfibre cloth does the trick to remove it but you'll have to do that a lot.

I also find the Apple silicone cases are more prone to it than other silicone cases for some reason but all are dust/lint magnets.

Leather cases definitely avoid this problem and are a step-up being classier than silicone, in my opinion. The patina on leather also changes so they look cool over time.

UPS picking up my apple order today and so far loving the phone just which there was a way to reduce motion without affecting the ability to swipe through recent apps though!
I booked a collection for UPS to collect my return today but haven't heard anything more than the confirmation email. Did you get any texts/emails today about it?

EE advise they can only apply one discount. Even executive complaints are accusing me of lying by saying that others have it added. The normal advisors are very nice, but Doug in executive complaints is awful.
At this rate EE are going to shut the entire thing down and we all lose out. Please don’t mention ‘others‘ when trying to negotiate a deal. They can do it, just ask nicely are remain firm. If you want a loyalty discount please ensure you actually have several years of being a customer to justify the request.

Hi all, maybe this is not the most correct place, but because participants here are in UK it makes sense. Did anyone order a case from Nubient? I just realized that I didn't get any email confirmation (I have now sent an email to them with no luck) but I was already charged. Because I was in a hurry I didn't even create an account and used probably something like guest order.

Did someone order from there and if so, when and has it arrived?

Cheers

Yeah this is true new EE customers like myself shouldn’t be able to access loyalty discounts. shame BT don’t do as good deals as EE with smart benefits as would of stuck with them as there ‘unlimited’ is actually unlimited unlike EE.

Guys what a morning followed the advise given by many members on this forum just renewed my EE contract sim only been with EE only 1 year got 200gb for £15... 5G enabled 24 months. Well happy now await for iPhone 12 Pro max preorders next Friday
The advisor didn't even bother putting up a fight.

Also renewed my virgin broadband only via live chat got 100meg for 13 pounds a month.

Also used live chat to renew my three existing plan sim only plan got £5 pounds unlimited everything including 5G data going to use this sim in my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

Has anyone got any recommendations for screen protectors? I’ve come across this seems a cracking deal and comes with the auto alignment system all for £6.99 reviews are good for it also.

Nothing at all, hoping they turn up or will just drive to my nearest apple store instead.

The unlimited has a data cap of 600GB per month tho if you go over they move you over to a business account. BT mobile genuinely are unlimited when they say unlimited. BT own EE but have a much lower customer base

The website says it’s unlimited with no caps if for personal use? So even then there a 600GB limit? I could only find a mention of 1000GB in the actual terms and conditions.

They said the exact thing to me until i asked for my PAC and within mins they magically found a way to add the discount

i'm sure someone posted a link to ee chat as it says its closed

can't seem to find the link any idea what page it might be on or even better repost it ? thanks

Can I have a little moan? 😇

I think someone should start a thread to discuss EE discount codes, they’ve taken over this thread and are dull AF to scroll through.

Yeah I agree with this too.

This thread is always about iPhone pre-orders and dispatches each year. Discussion can diverge to cases and screen protectors as that's related to everyone's iPhones. 5G area network talk is interesting as this applies to the new iPhones.

Talk of actual networks and contracts does happen each year as people upgrade both their iPhones and contracts. But as always, these are specific and dependent to what each person needs.

Appreciate the EE discount codes are very useful for a lot of people so a new UK EE only thread would be better for that discussion. Likewise, a lot of people are not on EE so EE info is not relevant to this particular thread.

Just my two cents.
