Which Model are you getting?

Found the link for the 6.1 version. Ordered it. Appears to be some duplication in the listings with a cheaper option. Got this for £13.99 which appears to be in line with the 12 pricing. Will post pics tomorrow

Yeah - it’s a bit confusing. When you click on the little thumbnail you get a version that appears to have white edges (?). One product is described as ‘clear’ (expensive with black edges) while the other is ‘transparent’ (less expensive with white edges).

Clear as mud!

Checked the ESR website. Definitely just two versions. The ’standard’ with punch hole and the solid black bordered armorite version. Will see what turns up. Probably just down to different suppliers at this early stage using different thumbnails

Yeah - I think you’re right. See attached screenshot - the two versions are from different auppliers. I’ve ordered the £15.99 ‘version’ needless to say!

Is there any advantage to the armorite version for the price difference?

Looks to withstand 10 times the pressure of the standard version (110 lbs vs 11 lbs) and should provide a cleaner look not having the cutout for the camera. You do only get 2 rather than 3 protectors though

Guys, Carphone warehouse are giving pretty decent trading prices and you can take it into any of their stores (inside curry’s pc world) and they’ll do the trade in and put the money on your card there and then. Got £430 for my 12 mini, MusicMagpie was offering £400.

£95 less for my 12 Pro Max compared to MM

Nice one, will give this a go

Yup they recently changed it. Plus the Ofcom ruling comes into effect from Dec 2021. Mobile networks are not allowed to sell locked phones any more.

You can also check the sim restriction status in settings.

....not sure if you're aware but none of those numbers in your screenshot are covered up enough - I can still read every single one.

Shipping my phone off today and setting up an SE from 2016. This thing is tiny!

Never seen this before (I am running the ios 15 beta though, maybe it’s new?)

Don’t think I’ll ‘enjoy’ the SE much though 🤣

So how do we think this will pan out?
Notification of event tomorrow... Event next Tuesday... Pre-order next Friday?
It better be. I've been holding out to upgrade my iPhone 8 Plus but the battery is really starting to have issues now. I'm very ready for a new phone.

Yeah that seems likely

Yep, fully expecting announcements tomorrow for next Tuesday. Have already cancelled my afternoon meetings so I have a clear diary at 6pm!

....I hope pre-orders do NOT go live next Friday (so Friday 17th) - I'm shipping my son off to Sussex University on that day (he's doing Product Design so could be a future iPhone designer!!!!) so my day is gonna be busy enough without trying to put in a pre-order IF I decide to upgrade!!!
😮😁

Haha there’s the first crack from Dino! What happened to ‘not worth upgrading’

Ok if you add the upgrade21 code smart drop kiosk disappears as an option leave out the code and it appears how infuriating
That's a pain. I've got a kiosk near me and like the idea of knowing there and then if i'll get the full price. I've contacted MM to notify them that it does this (doing it for me too just now) in the hope that its just a technical issue and that they can update the checkout to allow the SmartDrop.
