Which Model are you getting?

Yeah, they seem to have moved to a 1pm slot now. I preferred the 8am releases though, get up, get it ordered then go on with your day. Rather than it being in the middle of the day.
That said, it's felt like the past few launches haven't necessitated the mad 'i must get in within a few minutes or I'll miss it' of old though. Guess it depends each year and will be affected by model and finish, but I'm sure the 12 PM 512 silver i went for last year was still available for launch day for hours if not a day or so after pre orders went live.
I was so pumped and ready last year and got the 12 Mini pre-ordered within a few minutes. Breathed a huge sigh of relief I’d get it for launch day. 5 days later it was still available for launch delivery. But you can‘t ever really know what the supply and demand will be. This year I’m going Pro and I’m sure that will be much more popular!

Oh yeah, I'll still be refreshing like mad too, not going to take the risk :D.
I kind of miss the 'phew I got one' with the 3 or 4 minutes past confirmation email, after saving favourite models and doing dummy runs, making sure payment cards are set up etc, and then watching as wait times quickly spiral out to a couple of weeks or a month's delay.
The mad panic doesn't seem worth it when i can check again in the evening to find I could have just leisurely ordered one then with none of the frenzy.

Back to black it is (if this is anything to go by for the matt finish!)

Any reason why you went with MM instead of one of the others like Goodbuytech which seems to be offering a bit more? TIA
I almost went with Smart Cellular which were offering me £780 but I've never heard of them before and then found a couple of negative reviews so MM seemed a safer bet. MM quote is £725

How did you send it? Their prepaid label or your own special delivery service via royal mail?

Just used their prepaid label. There terms and conditions say they insure for the value you’ve been quoted and you get a tracking number where you can see where the package is. It’s also proof of posting.

I'm hoping for this, or better still as i live near to one, they open up the drop off option alongside the UPGRADE21 code so i can just drop it off over that weekend once the new phone is set up 🤞
Im trying to do this, locked in my price then realised this probably won’t be possible for me cause I don’t have an extra phone to use if I send sooner than later… I am going to redo the order though maybe next week if possible to try delay the 21 days.

Turned the house upside down to try and find my old iPhone 5s so I could send out my 12 Pro Max early. Cannot find it at all so I think I’ll just lock in the price at the end of this week. 21 days from this Friday should be enough time for me to ship it off on the release day and for it to get to MM… I think.
