Turned the house upside down to try and find my old iPhone 5s so I could send out my 12 Pro Max early. Cannot find it at all so I think I’ll just lock in the price at the end of this week. 21 days from this Friday should be enough time for me to ship it off on the release day and for it to get to MM… I think.
I’m thinking the same hopefully. Was looking at cheap iPhones possibly to buy but not sure I can be bothered

I was doing the exact same but then thought the money I’m spending on a cheap iPhone is probably going to be more than I’ll lose if MM lower their price this week 😂 guess I’ll just wait.

Anyone else using an e-sim?

I’m switching back to a physical sim as I don’t think it’s possible to sell your phone before you’re in possession of the new device.

If Vodafone used something other than text message based 2FA it might be easier!

Looks like I’ll be sending my 12 pro max 256gb to Goodbuytec for £735. Still got my XS max which should tide me over till release.

That's a pain. I've got a kiosk near me and like the idea of knowing there and then if i'll get the full price. I've contacted MM to notify them that it does this (doing it for me too just now) in the hope that its just a technical issue and that they can update the checkout to allow the SmartDrop.

Hello,

Thank you for your email.

Please be advised that promo amount will not reflect upon placing of an order. However, it will be paid when order is being completed by our warehouse team.

To be able to use the smart kiosk, your address need to be at least 20 miles from from Kioski outlet.

Thank you for your patience in this matter.

So I've rebooked Music Magpie for a 3rd and final time! o_O
Hopefully this now allows time for them to process after posting my Pro Max 256GB on the 24th.
A bit of a gamble but live by the sword, die by the sword!

Not sure if it will work, Quidco has tracked MM with £6.95 cashback.

I was tempted to post back earlier & buy a jet black 7 plus for 2 weeks iPhone nostalgia but too hard to justify that cost!

Predict websites like MM etc. will start reducing their sell prices this week following the announcement.

Hmm doesn't really clarify does it. If kiosk can't be selected with the code, then the first part is meaningless and the second is surely ment to be that we need to be within 20 miles, not more than 20 miles away. Ha, brilliant customer service there from MM. Still waiting for a response from them, but will let you know what they say.

Good luck, I am just doing the transfer from my XS Max to 12 Pro Max which is estimating 3 hrs. Looking to box and ship it off to Goodbuytec tomorrow. Need to also do the digital esim transfer from ee for 50p

How do you reuse the 10% extra code? On mine it says it’s already been used.

Good question!

I just set up a new MM account (with another email address I use) to make the 10% extra code work.

Looks like you can only use the code once on any account.

Looks like the 10% from MM will make the final value higher than Goodbuytech....Looks like I'll go with MM, Thanks for the tip :)

UPDATE

Just seen the 10% excludes mobile phones and capped at £30, figured it was to good to be true

I managed on Sunday to get the code through on a smart kiosk order but it only said £675 so If in the background the code as been added I don’t know and would have to take mm at their word to payout the £35 extra

Why they can’t just add the code at the start only mm know
