I feel you, I’m going to be sending mine in too for good timing I don’t want to ruin any chance of price change etc so want that dealt with quick. I’m going to miss this phone though! It’s been very good to me, borrowing my mother’s iPhone X until the new so hopefully I can get it on launch day or it’ll be a while for my poor mum 😂 but yeah deffo up for the silver again.
I’ll be honest, this year I could have easily kept the 12 Pro Max a further year, it’s not missed a single beat & been superb in every way. I love new iPhone tech so upgrade each year but definitely get those that hang on 2 years+ before changing up. I do like the challenge of securing on pre-order day for delivery on launch day, although that’s less of a problem the last few years!

My first year selling with MM and want to ensure I receive my locked in £740 on time. Judging from everyone receiving what they locked in with MM after sending in, it should be fine.

I’d prefer to have an X instead of my old 6S but for 4 days I think I can hold out! Getting excited as we’ve not got long to wait now!

Have just traded in with Carphone Warehouse .. £430 for iPhone 12 mini 128gb with 5-6 chips out of the casing (screen was perfect) but they were not bothered.

Their phone testing software isn't compatible with the beta yet though so needed to restore to iOS 14 first.

Bring on iPhone 13! ;)
That is a very good price. I got £410 for my 64GB sold privately.

Can i use my cellular Apple Watch without being paired to iPhone?
Sort of. In iOS 7 a feature was introduced to allow an Apple Watch to be used without it being paired to an iPhone

It’s designed for kids to have a Apple Watch, so if that was the reason for your question then it is possible. It you are asking if you can have an Apple Watch when you don’t have an iPhone, then it is a ’No’.

Not sure how genuine these are but thought worth posting

Those camera bumps look awful! Comments say these are likely re productions though so hopefully they won’t be on the real thing.

Hope the leather comes out on day 1 this year..

None of those really stand out to me so I’ll probably go with the Black if I get a Silver phone

Yeah those raised edges around the array don’t look great but wonder if they’re necessary because of the rumoured increase in depth. Not long left to find out 😬

I'm bucking the trend of this thread and about to upgrade my first gen SE to an iPhone 12 mini as there's some great deals to be had.

Do I go for a 24 month contract totalling:

1) £687 for any colour 64GB (unlimited data plan) or
2) £783 for blue 128GB (100GB data plan)?

Decisions, decisions... is there a colour easiest to resell?

I’d ignore the data limit if I were you.. unless you REALLY use an absurd amount of data, 100gb is more than enough. Now it depends on whether you need 128gb or you can make do with 64gb?

If the latter then the first deal is a good one! Otherwise go for the second deal and future proof your storage needs. I’d say blue will be an easy sell - i can only imagine colours like the green would be more difficult to shift if selling privately

Latest rumours is that base storage will be 128GB, pretty much guaranteeing the base option for the 13 Mini/13 will be around £50 more this year going by the 12's pricing.

Apple are REALLY making it hard to justify upgrading from the 12 Mini this year.

I felt bad paying £629 for my 12 Mini from Currys earlier as felt it was overpriced, and sold it for £410. A base storage 13 Mini looking to be around £750 - plus a new case and screen protector means paying around an extra £400 just for the pleasure of a slightly better battery, a smaller notch and double the storage I don't need.

If I’m honest, I’ve never understood Apple’s decision to have raised camera bumps which causes the phones to wobble when placed on flat surfaces?!

Yeah me neither, when you throw a case on it there is nearly zero wobble - but that defeats the purpose!
