Can’t remember who got the burner phone from MM like I’m thinking of doing again… but my question to that member is are you going to return it within 14 days? 😂 I was kind of thinking of this.

While we are on subject of camera bumps, why can’t they have it more central on the back, so that it doesn’t have that awful wobble when your using phone on a table ??

Latest rumours is that base storage will be 128GB, pretty much guaranteeing the base option for the 13 Mini/13 will be around £50 more this year going by the 12's pricing.

Apple are REALLY making it hard to justify upgrading from the 12 Mini this year.

I felt bad paying £629 for my 12 Mini from Currys earlier as felt it was overpriced, and sold it for £410. A base storage 13 Mini looking to be around £750 - plus a new case and screen protector means paying around an extra £400 just for the pleasure of a slightly better battery, a smaller notch and double the storage I don't need.
Apple might surprise us on Tuesday but assuming the rumours are correct I couldn't justify the 13 mini over the 12 mini so seeing as the battery life for my use-case is fairly poor I'm happy to get the Pro this year. I'll miss the mini's size though.. 5.8" screen on the X & 11 Pro was perfection for me.

I personally think a camera bump in the centre of a phone would be worse! It would look grotesque, and using the phone would be awful as when you’re holding it your fingers would cover it up all the time so it wouldn’t feel nice at all, not the mention the finger smudges either.

Might have been me?
I got a Jet Black iPhone 7 to use as a burner from MM. Going to keep it so I can use it every year and send off my current iPhone early to get the best price with MM.

Interesting to note from this is that it looks like Apple are going back to different cases for the 13 and 13 Pro

I think im right in saying the 12 and 12 Pro both use the same apple cases?

All but confirms a slight size or design difference between the 13 and 13 pro?

Looks like the camera module is bigger on the pro

Heads up for anyone looking to upgrade their AirPods to go with their new iPhone. As you might expect the trade in value on these isn’t great at the likes of MM/Cex/eBay. You’re likely to top out at £60 to £70 for wireless gen 2 if you’re lucky. However, if you list each AirPod and the case separately you’ll fetch around £100 (watch out for reduced eBay fees this Friday).

Ahhh yes it is. I was going to get the cheapest so a 6 or 6S. I saw they do a 14 days money back guarantee with no question I know it’s cheeky but I was maybe going to do this as I wouldn’t need a spare phone once I get new?

Will be looking to “sell” my 11 Pro Max 256 to envirofone and/or mazuma on Monday before the announcement, to get a decent price before it bombs after. Anyone got any +5% codes to give an extra 5% on the price you get like they’ve done before (or any codes?)

Thanks.

I always found it odd you could even trade them in.

Who buys used in ear headphones!

I know, could never do it myself. That said, I fully sanitised before selling on 😂. There seems to be quite a market for them! I guess it’s understandable, people lose AirPods all the time and don’t want to pay £65 for a single replacement from Apple.

UPGRADE21 gets you an extra £30 at Music Magpie if you’re not set on envirofone or mazuma.

If it’s gonna actually be Bronze and not (orange) Sunset Gold, well then, this render actually look pretty good I think… 😯 It would certainly match the Saddle Brown leather case

My SIM is currently in a Xiaomi note 8T and not to be an apple fangirl but Jesus I dislike android. I have had iphones since the 3G and every so often I get itchy feet and try android (previously tried Samsung flagships to cheap Moto phones etc). Every time I regret it very quickly.

I've tried four different roms over the past few days and they're all lacking in one way or another.

And yes, I know this is the very definition of first world problems, and I'm lucky to be in the position I'm in to be able to upgrade and have a spare phone etc.

Anyway. I've gone the long way around to say I need to sort an iPhone to use as a spare for future years.

Can’t believe how quickly it’s come around, doesn’t seem five minutes since the announcement last year!

That's because it hasn't even been a year. In fact, it's only been 11 months for the 12/12 Pro and 10 for the Mini and Max. It's not an average cycle. I'm a little uneasy about that, but what can you do?
