How is every other company sending theirs out for the 16th but Currys is receiving their stock that day? Makes so little sense.

I don’t understand why people subject themselves every year to the probable agony of a Curry’s order. Seems to bring anxiety every time.

When did you get the notification that it had been delivered (but sat at their courier hub) and what date did you send it. Actually, looking back through the thread, yours was "delivered" on Sunday, so same as me, hopefully, mine will get scanned today as well.

Thanks to whoever it was on here who recommended selling old cases to CEX. £34 for two apple silicone cases. Took forever to get payment (I posted them) but they paid what they quoted so pleased with that!

Nilay Patel at The Verge bingo card (if we're unfortunate enough to have him):

- "This is iPhone 14 Pro. It's an... iPhone" or similar
- Dynamic Island is a "dumb name" but actually "kind of neat"
- Mentioning how it's still not USB-C
- Android has had Always On Display for years
- Camera is good, some side by side shots of 14 Pro against a Pixel/Galaxy
- Unless you're on an iPhone 11(?) or older it's probably not worth an upgrade for how expensive it is

I mean… as we get closer to release day is anyone else’s excitement actually dying down? I think I’m realising more that I always get caught up in the hype and the 14PM will not really change my life much (if at all) from the 13PM.

The hype is definitely because we are in this forum imo. Yes we would be excited waiting for it to arrive but it is just enhanced when speaking to the same sort of people on the same journey, especially as a lot of regulars do this each year.

By next week once the regulars have received theirs it will be quiet again in here until about July next year!!
