I lie.. you can!

When you select credit/debit card, you can then add gift cards

So there is a good argument here to purchase gift card if paying in full which would guarantee no issues at payment.

For those that get apple care, do you add it with the purchase or add it on later when you have the phone? I seem to think it’s cheaper to buy all in one go then spread the payments with the Barclays finance but not sure how much cheaper. Anyone know the price to add it on monthly direct with the phone?

Follow the order steps in the store as the price is different for ac+ and ac+t&l

Quite a few people saying they are not impressed with the new Pro series. I wonder if that is since seeing the price. In my opinion the dynamic island is a big enough reason to upgrade it looks really cool.

Sorted debit card authorise by Apple placed order for the iPhone 14 Pro Max 128Gb in Black coming from my iPhone 12 Pro Max wished apple kept the storage prices the same always went for 256Gb phones... Going to keep this phone for another 2 years again....

I have given up with gift cards I did a £10 test yesterday and it took me a while to figure out how to stop it going straight through to Apple Pay.

Has anyone noticed,

When you pre authorise the payment, you can only process on single phones not a batch?

I was sure last year I was able to add 2 phones then pre authorise that payment for Friday, but I can only add one

Looks like you’d have to do separately this year.

Question on pre orders and Apple Pay..

I’ve got ready for pre order and selected Apple Pay - but I was wondering if I was to upgrade to iOS 16 between ordering and the money being taken I wonder if that would mess up my order and if I’m better off checking out with a credit / debit card?

As mentioned last night, I’m keen on seeing (and hoping no one does) get their transaction blocked on their card even after doing this pay in full pre auth.

I guess there might be a difference to some banks seeing a £0 charge to one over £1200?!

Just worth keeping you back ups options/card close, or numbers to call you bank etc handy!

They have to be done separately and I had to do the second one twice before it worked.

…On Friday, I will not be able to order at 13:00. I may be couple of hours late. I will also be ordering an iPhone 14 for a family member. Just hoping that I will still be able to secure a slot for Saturday collection at the Apple store.
If you’re 2 hours late to complete your pre-order you may find that shipping dates have slipped. Depends on supply and demand of course. Good luck.

This is why I just purchased the gift cards. Done dusted. Gift cards applied.

Looked back at my email receipt last year and I put both through in one transaction… I think I just added them to the basket and left the “pre-pre-order” in the end… might have to do that again.
