never had AppleCare and my iPhone 11 Pro Max is in pristine condition after 3 years and on original apple leather case , the screen protector was on for more than 2 years , but when I took it off , man felt like a whole new experience using the screen. the people who have the 13 pro is the screen more durable against the scratches or should I go again with screen protector

I'd always recommend a quality glass screen protector like the ESR Armorite.

I always take AC out with the price of the phones 1 accident can happen so it’s well worth it for peace of mind.
Am considering paying the extra for theft protection than make a claim on my house insurance which its currently covered.

WOW.

First time I have logged on here since yesterday and I have 30 pages to read

I watched the keynote at 8pm so I could fast forward through all the faff!


Things I took away from the Keynote:

1. Apple Watch Ultra - FAR too expensive?!? Its the same price as the phone for gawds sake?! Anyone who buys that just because its the latest and greatest Apple Watch (i.e. wont use any of the features of the Ultra) is mad...!!!!

2. iPhone 14 - looks exactly like the iPhone 13. No thanks.

3. iPhone 14 Pro - £1000+ for this phone??! Madness. My current 13 Pro is costing me £39.54 a month via Barclays -there is no way I am prepared to upgrade to the 14 Pro @ £45 a month!!! #GreedyBarStewards

4. Love the fact that they announced ALL Nike watch faces will be available for all range of Apple Watches.

5. I missed the date where the new iOS is to be released - was this announced last night ?

I had Belkin the one they install for you at Apple store , it was great but something didn't feel right from the beginning , it was the cloudy look on the screen . few months ago I took it off and boom I like the contrast or how you say the proper glass clarity of the phone.
Anyway my next question
pre-approved loan Barclays ,but thinking to add apple care is more expensive to add separately the 2-year monthly pay or should I start over again cancel the loan and apply for new one with AppleCare on top.

Far to expensive with 15% rise in uk. AirPods Pro with no lossless support! WTF. May look at a 13 pro max 6 months old at £750 currently, nearly half price. Likely same for 14 in another 6 months, Apple products really do not retain their value.

Damn, after reading through all this, this morning now I’m confused on how I should do this… paying all in one go so that’s £1209 and then AirPods Pro 2 as well at the £249 that’s hefty, I have an £80 balance against my Apple ID from gift card but now I’m thinking should I just wack them all on to gift cards to purchase or would I have to do this separately…

where is the best place to get with that price?
Cex has them starting at 900 , yes cheaper but not that great price
Myself can't trust online used phone offers and always a gamble

Imo they keep their values very well. I will sell my 13PM for much more than any Samsung equivalent that is a year old.

Done the pre check on monthly payments and just need to complete order tomorrow.

I’ve added a pre-order and been pre approved for the Barclays finance but now I want to change to 128 GB instead of the 256. Does anyone know how to do this? If I delete the existing pre order then add a new one, will I have to go through the finance approval again? I don’t see why they would reject me but don’t really want to take the risk Of fling it again! Or does it just take account of the approval I’ve already got?

Alternatively, when it comes to actually ordering tomorrow, can I just change the size easily enough then?
