Tell me about it. The difference in how they handle security varies a lot. Two of my credit cards happily just used FaceID as normal. Barclaycard wants my life history and firstborn child to get back in. And Starling needed a video but will now take an hour and a half to approve it. Better not be any delays with that as it’s my primary banking app!

I find anything to do with Barclays is a pain. Had to find that card reader thing to setup the Barclays Bank app. I think I'm finally done, I need a beer after all that.

I will be on physical SIMs as long as Apple will support them!

The UK networks have had five years to sort their act out on eSIMs (the Apple Watch Series 3 started the trend in 2017) and still it is a mess.

The paper-based QR code eSIM concept is hilarious… how to suck out all the innovation of the concept in one step!

Welp Currys finally got in touch after I've been pestering their poor online chat advisors. They can't fulfil my Silver Pro pre-order. They're sending me out a Purple instead which I can keep or refuse as well as a £50 gift card 🤷‍♂️

Finally was able to pick mine at the exact scheduled appointment time of 4pm from Watford Store. Have to say the Deep Purple is definitely one of the best colours Apple has ever had in the phone lineup. And the Ink leather case goes with it very well.

Yeah it's great, love the way the dev is super active on Reddit as well.

The problem is that V2 containing an iPad UI has been promised since the app was in beta (I remember) - and there are loads of bugs which just aren't being fixed

Probably gonna refuse and have a trip over to the Apple Store in Leeds who have stock. Was eyeing up the new AirPod Pros so might end up using the voucher towards them.

So annoyingly, I paid for something annually last month - and the dev just announced they're discontinuing the app 🙁, and they're refunding customers who purchased in the current calendar month.

They did - some apps didn't log me in automatically but when I clicked on the 'enter email' bit it pulled it from keychain or whatever the phone uses.

Did phone to phone transfer and it hasn’t been smooth!

Watch is still paired to old iPhone + my esim didn’t move over deleted esim from old device now trying to add to new device and just sat on activating.

Anyone know how to solve the Watch issue - I have a good streak on my rings if I reset the watch will I lose this?

I think I’m going to do this… not straight forward as it’s out of stock atm though! And really I want to go back to Apple Store to do this so I can have the refund on credit to pay the difference of £100 instead
